Zero Waste Shop & Cafe - Edit
I popped to the zero waste shop in Ferndale and had a Thai Green style soup with two rolls and butter, I topped up three jars with nutritional yeast, quinoa and kidney beans and I had a pot of tea with oat milk. All of that cost less than £11.

Friendly Vegan Staff - Edit
Recently-opened zero-waste shop & cafe in Ferndale, Rhondda. Friendly & helpful vegan staff. Various vegan milks for hot drinks; vegan cakes & snacks (such as toast with different spreads) available. Bring your own clean containers for refilling with cruelty-free toiletries (eg shampoo, conditioner, washing up liquid), herbs, grains, oils etc. Jars of pick & mix sweets - clearly marked which are vegan (most of them) with carefully labelled separate tongs for customers to use to prevent cross-contamination. Free drinking water & dog treats. Sign outside saying it's dog-friendly. Local Gifts, including upcycled items. Selection of community events, including repair cafes, games nights, family arts & crafts and Paned a Sgwrs.
