Great place with loads of vegan choices - Edit
The menu was massive but the food was all super tasty. The satay was the standout here!

Nice to try - Edit
Was very busy when I came here so ended up sharing a table. I found the menu a bit confusing and couldn't see the information about how the steamboat worked. Ordered pineapple rice which was tasty, and spicy chicken which wasn't for me as it had an unusual sweet taste. Would love to have tried the steamboat but felt it was too busy to try figure it out from the staff.

Cheap and tasty - Edit
Was very surprised from the outside it was a vegetarian restaurant, but pleasantly surprised. Managed to grab a table as very busy and seems to be a sit down by yourself, not waiting to be seated. Friendly staff who are always doing something! Had the laksa which was incredible, and some dim sum which was also very nice. Seem to have a big menu with western items costing more, nice to try authentic local meals instead anyway!

The staff was very helpful and they suggested to take mala noodles, which were made really nice and spicy :), the cost was $12 for a single person. I also had the curry puff and spring roll which is $1.5 each

Dim Sum Heaven - Edit
Having scouted the other, plentiful East Asian options in this mall, I was lured in to this place by the strategically placed dim sum cabinet. Having selected nearly one of everything on offer, I took my seat a dove in. All were excellent, my particular favourites were crystal ball, the taro roll and the spectacularly named house special, the UFO (unidentified fried offering?!).

Huge menu, so yummy! - Edit
Can't say for certain what is and isn't vegan as it's not labeled but we took our chances on the satay and laksa both of which were really nice! This place can get pretty busy and is cash only but if you go fairly early you'll be fine. There was a huge menu and also additional snacks at the front.

Unpleasant surprise - Edit
First time trying the food here after they shifted over from another unit in the same building. Ordered the mala xiang guo (MLXG), a double boiled burdock soup and 2 rice for 2 pax.
Read moreHalfway through eating, we spotted a wooden clothes peg in our MLXG 😑 it was used by the stall to indicate our order/table number. I reported it to the lady boss and she apologised and offered me to re-pick my ingredients again but we were already so full after finishing half of it. I highlighted to her so that they will be more careful next time, and not sure if the peg is rusty, but she said it’s not.
Not sure if we will return again though, MLXG was very salty and oily, not very spicy for medium spice level n totally no numbness. However the double boiled soup was good.

Vegan Steamboat - Edit
Stumbled upon this place as I was looking for another veg restaurant in the mall. The idea of picking my own veggies really appealed to me.
Read moreYou grab a large bowl and select from at least 7 vegetables, noodles, and proteins (tofu, Tempe, tofu skins, fish, beef, prawns, etc) valued at around 1-2$ each. You choose a sauce and they cook it up and bring it your table. A woman there guided me through it and the sauce selection.
I really enjoyed my meal. Flavorful versions of my favorite veggies and faux meats for a great price.

Friendly Staff and Delicious Food - Edit
Shifted units within Fortune Centre. Good place to visit when you're looking for a late dinner, as they have longer opening hours. Allium-free and eggless vegetarian food influenced by Putien of China. Highly recommend their handmade 'crystal bun' dim sum (steamed tofu balls stuffed with vegetables and peanuts) and soup of the day. Very friendly staff!

Nice but slight oily - Edit
Tried their clay pot rice which is really nice but wish it was cooked slight less oily and let the rice get burnt slightly to get the charred crispy texture. Like the ingredients which has no mock meat and if I’m not wrong they added a piece of yam in it which helps to balance out the overall taste of the dish which sometimes has too much sauce in it. Am someone who prefer more bland food. Hard to find clay pot rice around though so was happy that they have it.

Great value and variety - Edit
The first time I went here I ordered the olive fried rice (5.50$) and orange chicken (6$). I foolishly thought all together was 6$ and was shock to find out 6$ was side dish. VERY misleading promotion board and staff told me it was 6$ when I asked so😄F for honesty
Read moreBut putting that aside, for a restaurant it’s pretty damn good and affordable. I appreciate cheap vegetarian food that doesn’t clog up my arteries either.
Olive fried rice great, lots of vegetables. Orange chicken very flavourful (soy meat) very identical to the real thing
Hor fun is very light and feeling. The Mock meat didn’t add anything to it but still good. Has vegetables inside too
Pros: Variety of dishes for sharing and for ala carte , Affordable , Not too oily
Cons: Waiting time a bit long during peak hours

not worth it - Edit
to put it nicely, i wouldn’t recommend visiting expecting impressive food or service.
Read morefood quality and taste is mediocre. we tried:
1. (no. 1111) mee rebus $5 (vegan)
2. (no. 1113) slices fish bee hoon $5 (contains dairy)
we also tried a couple other classic (more expensive) dishes i cant remember, recommended by the staff. but i wasn’t impressed. the quality is not worth of the price.
overall, i wouldn’t visit again, unless i don’t have a choice.
Pros: extensive menu
Cons: a lil pricey, mediocre quality and taste, staff doesn’t have the best service attitude...
