Convenient location, good value - Edit
A cozy shop with character (saxophone on the wall!), just a 2-minute walk (180m) from a light rail station.
Read moreI tried the dumplings and sesame noodles. The dumplings were just average, but the sesame noodles were surprisingly good. Surprisingly, because the portion was huge yet the price was only about 20% above typical street sellers'. And street sesame noodles tend to be rather bland because good sesame oil or paste is not cheap.
Hope I can go back and try the specialty - Chinese herbal soup - and update this review before I leave. But the shop hours are limited - only 2 hours each at lunch and dinner times - so might be difficult.
Update:
The dang gui (Chinese angelica) herbal soup was in the class of the sesame noodles: generous portion and exceptionally flavorful. Looking forward to going back and trying more dishes.

小草是一家精緻小巧素食麵店，裡面只有4張桌子，沒有過多的裝飾物，牆面都是粉綠色，舒服且乾淨的環境。
Read more麵疙瘩是我的最愛，搭配絕妙麻醬香氣，讓人一口接著一口，麵疙瘩本身非常有嚼勁，也非常有飽足感，小碗就讓我滿足😋
滷味裡頭有淡淡中藥味，不沾醬料就很好吃喔👍
