The FOOD!!! - Edit
Street parking and it is in the low rent part of downtown. It doesn't look like much from the outside. Everyone has to start somewhere. Inside there are red vinyl booths, mushrooms and moss framed on the wall. It is cute and clean. I ordered the cubano, beignets, cinnamon roll and Humm Kumbucha. My husband ordered the philly cheese steak. They make Italian sodas and coffees as well. That is on the list for next time. The food was delicious. The beignets are better than Cafe Du Monde in New Orleans. Which are from my old pre-vegan life. I thought I would never have a decent beignet in my life again. The cinnamon roll was boxed to go for breakfast tomorrow. My husband's philly cheese steak was amazing. There were no straws in sight. We ate off metal plates with a paper. The forks and spoons were metal. The place was low waste. Which is the cherry on top for me. Staff were friendly. We didn't wait long for our food. It wasn't expensive. I ordered up and basically took groceries home. I thought the total was going to be high. It wasn't.
Read moreUpdate- they moved in October 2020 and the place is nicer and the parking is better. The food is still fabulous and so are the chai, coffee, and drinks. The vegan cheese sauce and the Arby's sauce on the "beef and cheddar" was just like the real thing. The seitian was thicker slices but I don't know if seitian can be sliced as thin as Arby's. It was delicious. The even had the onion roll bun.
Pros: Everything is vegan, Delicious food, Short wait and low waste

Good lunch to go - Edit
Very good food. Reasonable price and portions. The server was kind and they are safe and clean — daily menu is online, employees wear gloves and masks, takeout only.

Unexpected Location but Flavorful Seitan - Edit
The outside of the restaurant looks questionable, but the inside is cute with living moss and exposed brick interiors. As far as the food goes, the seitan is flavorful and a lot comes on a sandwich. My omni friend and I both got the Italian. He liked it, but I would have liked some leafy greens on mine. It’s fairly priced because they make all their seitan in store, and they have baked goods and specials.

Great lunch spot - Edit
The staff was very friendly and welcoming. My husband and I ordered the Philly and roast beef sandwich. Both were very good and the Philly is really 2 sandwiches, definitely sharable. Both sandwiches came with chips and they have bottled drinks. The menu is small but the options are still great.

I would like to see them add a burger or something else that is more kid friendly.
Pros: Great sandwiches
Cons: Street parking, No burger

Amazing vegan food! - Edit
All vegan restaurant! Linley makes the best Seitan in lots of different flavors! I had the Cubano sandwich and it was delicious! She is also an amazing baker and we tried one of her giant sweet rolls...very yummy! Check out her Facebook pages "The Local Seitantist" and Willow Street Deli and see lots of pictures of her amazing food...her beautiful cakes certainly don't look vegan. She also makes vegan cheese! You can buy sliced seitan "to go" and make your own sandwiches at home.
