Vegetarian/Vegan options available (upon request) - Edit
It's a nice restaurant. Just like most non-veg places you really do need to put in the work to make sure the meal is veg/vegan. It's worth the hassle though. I loved the vegetable kotthu and their fruit salad.

Best kottu ever - Edit
I had the vegetable curries and it wastamazing! My partner had the kottu and ir was one of the best kottus I ever tried. I can absolutely recommend going here, the food is so delicious and it‘s a good price!

The food here is amazing. Many different traditional dishes are offered and it was as good as it gets. Friendly owner and it really seems to be a family business. I recommend it!

Quite expensive, felt like a tourist trap. 10% extra commission out of nowhere, we paid for a dish we didn't order. We went to this particular place since the reviews on happy cow where great but we were so disappointed.

Plenty of vegan options as well as gluten free options.
We reccomend the Dhaal, vegetable rotti, kottu rotti, and the desserts!
I talked with the owner too, and he seems lovely :-)

Amazing Family Run Spot - Edit
Came to this super special family run restaurant in Sigiriya called Wijesiri.
Read moreAfter reading about how amazing their homemade rice noodles are I had to try it.
And it did not disappoint.
The wine is Butterfly Pea Wine which is super healthy.
And the family…wow. Such beautiful souls.
They are a lineage of wood carvers and had a spot next door that I picked up a few things from.
Def go check them out if you visit Sigiriya.
I’ll be going back tomorrow.

Home cooked Sri Lankan Vegan Food - Edit
This restaurant was the highlight of our trip to Sigiriya. Lots of options for Vegan. The vegan curry and rice platter was fresh and beautiful. Coconut juice and lime juice amazing. We came back in the evening and had Devilled Vegetables.

The best homemade noodles - Edit
This is a great family run restaurant. The owners are so nice and friendly. We all had the homemade noodles. They were the best noodles that I have ever had in my 46 years. Come eat at this place if in the area. You won’t regret it
