Whole Foods - Edit
Great to have this option, but it’s a “nothing special” Whole Foods. You can get your typical vegan items here.

Vegan TTLA - Edit
This vegan Tempeh is a take on the traditional blt sandwich available in the deli section. it's made with smoked Tempeh, garlic aioli, vegan mayo, tomatoes and lettuce I believe. It's not in every location nor is it on the menu. I recommend calling ahead to verify if you're location has this.

One of the Better Whole Foods - Edit
The hot and cold counters at the 4 Whole foods in the Detroit area don't cater much to vegans, and this store doesn't lean that way very much either, but it's certainly better than the Detroit area stores.

Wholesome eats at Whole Foods - Edit
I like the store a lot. As a big fan of fresh food, food grown without chemicals and fabulous flowers, you can't do better than whole foods unless you're in North Carolina! In these times of climbing food prices, I've found I'd rather spend a few extra cents to get the freshest food available. And, of course, organic is the best!

few vegan deli items - Edit
We stopped in to get some food to take on our plane ride home and the deli had few vegan items. We saw no vegan sandwiches (either pre-made or behind the counter menu). The pre-made salad options were limited and the usual items at other locations were not there. However, they had more vegan bakery items than I've seen elsewhere, including vegan donuts! The rest of the store seemed like a basic moderate size WF store and it had a separate "Whole Body" store attached that I've never seen before, but it had the usual beauty and vitamin items found at other stores.

Cons: few vegan deli items, sells meat, dairy and eggs
