V nice cafe for tea & cakes! - Edit
Very good cakes, they were kind enough to serve us shortly before closing on our first night in Kyoto, the cakes were so good we came back on our last day for more tea, cake and sundaes. Particularly enjoyed a peanut butter muffin. Yum!

This place was great! Super convenient location inside a shopping centre in Nishiki Market. That being said, unlike other vegan places I’ve visited in Japan, it wasn’t packed and I was able to sit right away!

I think it was a house made patty, it was absolutely spectacular. It was so juicy and flavorful. I highly recommend you give this place a try, it is tucked into the 3rd floor of the daimauru Kyoto store. We also got the banana chocolate sundae and it was absolutely to die for. The house made chai is good as well! Price is reasonable, it isn’t the cheapest option in Kyoto but not the most expensive.

You have warm/salty options and sweets. We ordered the brownies and "today's muffin" (strawberry flavour). Both very juicy and tasty. We also had the capuccino and a camomille tea, very good too. The price is actually very fair for the quality.

The patty was so juicy ! never had such an unique texture and the burger super yummy, i totally not regret trying this place wich deserves better ranking imo. The cheescake was also great. If youre a big eater you should consider ordering two burgers. Only thing lacking was some sauce for the fries. Everything perfect appart from that. Ill show up again 😋

Coffee was great. My friend has the tomato based sauced spaghetti which she enjoyed. The cheeseburger was decent portion and good flavor. I wasn't a fan of the fake meat. It was a little too realistic for me which for others could be a good thing. Otherwise it was pretty good- melty cheese and good pickles!

Too westernized for our taste and really have to cross a whole department store floor dedicated to fashion to get to the cafe.
Staff was friendly and accommodating to any requests but food just wasn't anything special.

Coffee was bad. Burger had a really weird patty like maybe it was a mix of jackfruit and yuba? Wedges were a strange yellow colour and soft, not crisp. Centre doesn’t open until 10am on the dot. Service was pretty quick.

Are you going to a restaurant to fill your stomach, or to have a special time? In the first case: do visit Whitely. It is very conveniently located on the third floor of a huge department store, near lady's underwear. They're open for lunch and dinner and offer burgers and spaghetti. The menu is available in English and service is quick.

The ingredients seem cheap and there's no attempt of doing something extra by adding special ingredients or presenting the food beautifully. When I ordered the "home made sausage and green onion spaghetti" that's exactly what I got and not a single ingredient more. Even the chai latte was of average quality at best.

Nice little café on the third floor (3F) at the Daimaru department store. All products here are vegan. You can get burger, cakes and ice cream sundaes here as well as hot and cold drinks.

The restaurant is on the fourth floor (F4) in the shopping mall (behind women's underwear. We got grilled vegetable salad, avocado burger and a pasta. Pasta I would've called pasta, it's a good ramen in cashew sauce. The salad had really nice dressing. The cutlet in the burger was very unique (soy and pea protein based). Earl grey tea was fenomenal and homemade coke was very interesting (but a bit too sweet).

The place is hard to find, but very nice. Had the meaty pasta and burger. Both were not good at all. Almost no flavor and no sauce in the burger, no salt on the fries and no ketchup to be found. If you like Italian food don’t try the pasta.

It's 3rd floor at the back of the mall!!!! - Edit
You will burn enough calories trying to find this cafe, go into the mall, 3rd floor, right at the back past the women's clothing and underwear department. Last orders are sometimes 45 before closing. They had sold out of some things but I ordered a cheese burger and potato fries, which were 'ok'. No condiments. I had the place to myself at 6pm.

About half of their menu was not available when I went. No burgers. I got the pasta with 'sausage.' Sausage was salty and very real to life texture for the meat replacement lovers. Portion was small in my opinion, but not super overpriced. Had a muffin, delicious and the banana float to finish it off and that was also very tasty. It is on the third floor of a department store. You can walk there directly from Shijo station.

I stopped here for lunch and ordered their Burger set. Their lunch set comes with your choice of a burger (with fries or salad) or pasta, a drink, and a dessert. I ordered their Salsa Avocado Burger (with a salad), a brownie, and a cafe latte (with oat milk). The burger was delicious and I highly recommend it! The brownie wasn’t a full one, only half, but I didn’t mind. The entire lunch was quite filling for me 😋
