Super value for money!

Very casual, low key restaurant with no bells and whistles. Excellent value for money.

The food was tasty, the vegetables fresh and plentiful and the servings were generous.

Pros: Very budget friendly , Large diverse entree / salad / meal menu, Dog friendly outdoor tables (2)

Yummy & budget-friendly

It’s a basic restaurant (kind of cafeteria-like) so not the kinda place you’d go for a nice date, but with that in mind the food was tasty and great value. The chow mein was a huge portion, I took home the leftovers and got another meal out of it the next day. My boyfriend predictably ordered the chick’n burger (odd choice for an Asian restaurant but he’s burger-obsessed), and enjoyed it - plus it was crazy cheap at only $10 including chips.

Pros: 100% vegan, no frills place with good food, big portions

This Is My Heaven

If I died today and God (or Jesus) let me into heaven I bet it would look like West End Vegan Restaurant.

This is hands down my fav vegan spot in Brisbane. Such a massive variety of really good classic dishes like sweet n sour pork, honey chickn, phở, laksa etc.

The owner is super nice and you will always get really friendly and accommodating service.

Pros: Very well priced, Nice dining environment, https://suprememastertv.com/

Amazing

Had been waiting to find somewhere I could go with my boyfriend, as he and his family always eat traditional Chinese food that I can’t have. We ordered all of his favourites, and they were delicious. Will definitely return.

Lots of asian style foods made with tofu or mock meat. Very flavourful!

Many options and great value. Yummy food and friendly service.

The staff is always very friendly and helpful, the owner is always smiling. On the menu there are lots of options and everything is vegan. Great value and big portions.
The place is not very fancy and might not be the best choice for a date, and in some plates there is sugar, which I don’t really like, but I just avoid those plates since there is great choice anyway. Rather then that it’s a very nice vegan restaurant, we go there once a week or so :)
They have parking for customers to, which makes it easier to park in West End.

Pros: Lots of options, Tasty, Good hearted humble staff

Cons: The restaurant is not ideal for a date, very simpl, Some items have sugar, I personally don’t like it

A bit hit and miss, has potential

Ordered several dishes on delivery, the Mongolian noodles and the calamari were good, the honey chicken was below average and the satay sticks and pork chop with rice were very underwhelming. I think if this place sourced better ingredients and took the time to properly prepare their food with care, their food would be a lot better.

Pros: Vegan, fast

Cons: Poor quality food, a bit bland and dry

Great value, tasty classics

BBQ buns and chicken yellow curry were the highlight.

We tried a lot all tasty but the bbq buns are for sure a favourite. Hadn’t been here before was happily surprised by flavours, price and lovely service.

Pros: Good value, Lots of choice, Friendly staff

Cons: Not overly comfortable tables.

Cravings Satisfied

I love visiting this restaurant every time I’m near West End.

The guy who runs it is funny, friendly and always has a smile on his face.

The stir frys are full of flavour but my fave is the lemon “chicken”. Not that healthy but so crunchy and delicious I get cravings just thinking about it! The Sweet and Sour is great as well!

Pros: Relaxed friendly atmosphere , Nice staff, Good range of meal choices

Great & Terrible...

Okay, so there is some Great and some Terrible.

We have had the “Honey Chicken” paired with Fried Rice, and I must say that this is the best Honey ‘Chicken’ we have ever had, the fried rice was okay the first time, a little burnt. The second time it was great😄Lovely little place, with Vegan campaign posters on the walls, local store not a chain.

Now for the bad...

The last meal we had was so god-awful I think I need to see a therapist about my experience. Imagine yourself, it’s 6pm on a Tuesday night. You decide to return to vegan restaurant where you’ve had quite a few good meals before in the hope for your hunger to be satisfied. But for some unknown reason you decide instead to turn on your oven and heat down your favourite Tupperware container. You cut it into strips, lightly season it, smother it in oil and place it on a bed of rice. Now you are experiencing how the ‘crispy chicken with rice’ tasted.
I could hardly stomach the smell, let alone the taste. Oh god the taste. After 0.003 seconds on my tastebuds every cell in my body immediately rejected the atrocity which was the ‘crispy chicken’ and thus immediately spat out.
Unless you like the taste of oily rubber on a bed of rice, stay away. As far away as you can. Run. Run away. Get out while you can.

Pros: The “Honey Chicken” is AMAZING, Local Store, All Vegan!!!

Cons: Please, please ,, Don’t get the,, Crispy Chicken with Rice

Salad was very salty and bland. Daughters had vegan calamari and Vegan burger and liked it. Green curry was nice but nothing to rave about. Restaurant very clean.

Pros: Cheap, Value for money

Cons: Food a bit bland , Not very warm service

Bland and boring

There is something going on in the kitchen here. The flavours are just not there, despite the majority of these dishes being Vietnamese cuisine, which in my experience should be a rainbow of flavours. Unfortunately, the people cooking don't seem to know or care. It is relatively cheap, so try it for yourself if you're in the mood for some Asian mock-meat fare. I'm not giving them a second chance.

Pros: Quite cheap, Easy-to-read menu, Friendly staff

Cons: Flavourless food

Disappointing

As my first vegan experience in Brisbane, I really wanted to like this place. My dining companion ordered the ‘Heavenly Salad’, while I ordered the ‘laksa’ ($13) - literally the worst ‘laksa’ I’ve ever had - a small pool of very salty lukewarm coconut cream (i.e. minimal cold broth seemingly flavoured only with ‘salt’), so we switched meals. Fortunately the Heavenly Salad ($10.80) largely lived up to its name.

Pros: good salad, vegan, friendly

Cons: worst ‘laksa’ I’ve ever had

Awful

Microwaved meals, nothing fresh, and bland. Disappointing and will not return. Even my oh couldn't eat his and he eats everything!

I enquired initially on Facebook for gluten free and they said there were alot of options but open arrival was told I couldnt have most of the dishes as its 'bought in'. If you like cheap and bland Asian food you'll like it here, but if not then avoid.

More disappointed to see its Vietnamese - after living there, I can honestly say it is definitely not.

Amazing

I ate here today and the food is phenomenal. I'll be going back three times a week at least.

Tempura mushrooms, soy Peking Duck and red curry with steamed rice were all amazing.

Extensive menu and I'm really looking forward to eating my way through it.

Pros: Excellent food, Lovely staff, Valufor money

Cons: Could use some music during quieter times
