Organic food stand selling their locally home-grown fruit and vegetables as well as eggs on the market around the fountain of the St Johanner Markt on Mondays and Wednesdays (8am-2pm) and on the market in front of the church Ludwigskirche on Saturdays (8am-1pm.) They are a family-run organic fruit and vegetable farm based in Ommersheim, not using any fertilizer of animal-origin. Open Mon 08:00-14:00, Fri 08:00-14:00, Sat 08:00-13:00.

My favourite market stand

I just love buying my fruit and veg from Werling´s Bioland Gemüsehof because their produce is high-quality and tasty. It´s always a pleasure to see how enthusiastic the owner is about their fruit and veg - for a reason! She´s always up for a little chat, her assistants are very friendly too and you get a chance to try their food if you aren´t sure about its taste. They also sell their fruit and veg cheaper before closing time because they truly appreciate their food and don´t want to waste it. It´s always a wonderful food shopping experience. Check them out if you can!
