Amazing food in serene atmosphere - Edit
A truly hidden gem, as most people probably end up in the posh teahouse next door, which also sells a few vegan items. As stated in other reviews, this one is inside the temple and officially only open to members of said temple. After us having asked nicely, they were happy to serve us though and extremely friendly.
Read moreIt's probably the most quiet place I've been to in Metro Manila so far and the food was amazing with very decent prices. We would definitely come back and are happy to have found this nice place
Pros: Serene atmosphere, Great food for fair prices, Very friendly people

Delicious food in relaxed atmosohere - Edit
This tea house is inside the Buddhist temple, go through the door on the side of the gate where the security guard sits. It is a quiet and serene little tea shop with delicious food. Everything is vegetarian, I didn’t see any dairy or egg on the menu so it may be all vegan as well, though I’m not 100% sure. The fried mushroom was incredible, will be back for sure.

Oriental vegan (All with no 5 pungent roots) 🙏🙏 - Edit
Being vegan has its difficulty adventuring for food, being vegan and following the no 5 pungent roots for a better mind and body connection has an even higher challenge.
Read moreSo grateful to have this place, enjoyed a brief walk to the 2nd floor for the Buddhist hall.
Food were excellent, my family and I devoured everything and ordered some snack items to go (fries and vegan nuggets)

Party of 4 with the to go cost us about $35USD

Sehr gut! Super! - Edit
Read moreThe restaurant is a lucky choice. You can have Chinese food, tasty and prepared in an interesting style. As far as I was able to find out all was vegan. Very friendly staff. Not very easy to find since it is located inside a building, Chinese letters outside.

Wonderful find - Edit
This nugget of gold is located in the bottom floor of the MABUHAY TEMPLE, so maybe use that in your GPS search. WORTH THE SEARCH. I got the vegetarian mushroom ball soup, a side of fried tofu, and the wintermelon tea. I suggest you order this exact combo (I'll upload some pictures). The soup was delicious and light, I added a little soy sauce and "sticky sauce" from their sauce bar, the tofu was crispy and not greasy AT ALL with perfect seasoning, and the tea was beyond incredible. Wonderful restaurant.

Wholesome, filling food - Edit
Easy to find if you read the earlier reviews (just ask the security guard)... it’s the building to the right of the Vietnamese Embassy. The food itself is well prepared and neatly presented, but could be a little bit tastier.

We had some delicious noodle soup as well as wontons and steamed dumplings. Excellent and tasty. Pretty location and the staff and nuns are very welcoming. Temple upstairs is very pretty.

Inside the Temple - Edit
It's a Teahouse located inside the Buddhist Temple(Fo Guang Shan Mabuhay Temple) along the busy Street of Pablo Ocampo St(formerly Vito Cruz)infront of Century Park Sheraton Hotel near Harisson Plaza Mall.
Read moreWe have a difficult time finding this Teahouse because they don't have any signboard outside. The staff told us that it's an exclusive restaurant especially for members who worship in their temple.
The food is great and delicious. They serve vegetarian food. If you're a Vegan, ask the staff first so they can prepare something for you.
Price of food is a bit high compare to some vegetarian restaurant but i understand because it's an exclusive Teahouse for members only.
Pros: excellent food, friendly staff, nice vibe
Cons: moderate price, no signboard outside
