Simple and healthy - Edit
Buddhist restaurant with simple, but healthy and yummy food. Previous reviews mention a bookstore, but that seems to have vanished. Servers able to identify which items are without eggs and dairy.

Buddhist restaurant/shop. I almost missed it because it looks like a bookshop from the outside.

Menu is in Chinese only and the staff doesn't speak English but they are very helpful.
I ordered the sesame oil noodles and hot a huuuuge bowl of soup and noodles for 100NTD. Very tasty, with cabbage, tofu, mushrooms and some kind of balls I've never had before.
Will definitely come back to try more items from the menu.

Huge and wholesome - Edit
We tried three different kinds of noodle soups and each was delicious, unique, and very nourishing. You can tell they use high quality ingredients. The portions are huuuuuge. Ambience is nice for a sit-down meal. Staff is friendly, but no English!
