Serves meat, vegan options available. Local eatery. Menu includes several vegetarian versions of classic Indonesian dishes. Open Mon-Sun 11:00am-11:30pm.
Really enjoyed the Veggie Noodles. Good serving size and flavours.
Also, there was some live music on the evening we went, which added to the nice atmosphere. Would go here again :)
Tasty Indonesian food that can be made vegetarian - Edit
I was in Sanur before when I discovered this place. Surprised the reviews are so low because I think their Cap cay soup, Nasi Goreng, Gado gado and Mie Goreng is very tasty. Foods can be made vegetarian/vegan as they don't use milk or cheese in them anyway. I recommend this place!
Vegan with egg? 🥺 cap cay is mostly made with chicken broth, noodles are always with egg (in the dough already)..so I don’t think the food you eat was vegan..
How is this even on happy cow! As I was up near the night markets in Sanur I thought it would be ‘ok’ and I read all the reviews and knew it was hit and miss. I spoke to two of the staff members and they guaranteed no animal products in the vegetarian options and three times later we got something that I still don’t know was even vegetarian let alone vegan! Prawn cracker... prawns... eggs... and who knows what else! No apologies or concern whatsoever. DO NOT EAT HERE ITS TERRIBLE AND SHOULD BE REMOVED FROM THIS WONDERFUL APP,
I would have given no star but it needed a 1 to do this review
Small warung, classic Indonesian dishes available in vegetarian versions (mie/nasi goreng, gado gado, cap cay, fried tempeh/tofu, etc.). Limited menu, but cheap!
Little cafe with vegetarian meals. We spoke with the staff about what vegan means, especially about eggs and I ordered a gado gado. The meal came with egg and shrimps cracker. Not so funny.
My wife had a cap cay and that was really good.
Decent Nasi Goreng, did serve shrimp cracker with the meal after asking for it to be vegan, but then again they didn't seem to understand what vegan was.
We went to Little Bird for an early dinner one evening and both got Mie Goreng. It was very nice, a good size and was brought out quickly. It did seem a touch expensive for what you got though, however that was not a major issue.
Very cute cafe with good vegetarian meals. As I'm vegan they didn't mind leaving the egg out, but didn't seam to understand what vegan means as I got one peace of krupuk. otherwise food was avarage and size of meal is fair for the price. was there for lunch...
