OK - Edit
They converted one chicken curry into a tofu and tempeh curry for us, which was ok.
Read moreThat was the only choice
Weirdly, when we were leaving, they had ‘vegan pasta’ and ‘vegan stick’ (which was some kind of barbecue skewer I think) marked up in the walls - but we weren’t offered it.
Odd!
Pros: Nice sunset view, Has a little duet warbling, which was nice, Pleasant staff
Cons: Nothing in the menu that is vegan., Cocktails advertised, but not offered any., Access up a rickety ladder

Shouldn’t be on Happy Cow anymore - Edit
Only 2 vegetarian options - curry or a vegetable dish. Curry was nice but not better than food we’ve eaten at other nearby restaurants with much more choice. Also a very limited drinks selection. None of the items listed on the original description are available anymore. Presumably they’ve changed the menu since this was first added.

Nice vibe! Not sure the purity of vegan offering - Edit
We went for dinner and it was a nice bar vibe. Food is local and authentic, warung style, but not sure how pure vegan the food was. They will tell you what can be veganzied. They may be using some meat/fish sauces or just the same tools because it didn't taste fully plant based.

Cool vibes and cute view - Edit
We had the cap cay, vegan skewers and a veganised version of the chicken curry. Staff have a really good understanding of veganism and can tell you what you can have. I LOVED the vegan bbq skewers and the cap cay. The curry was nice too but definitely not as good as the other two. Amazing views onto the port and a nice chill vibe!
Read moreEdit: would check if the potatoes that coke with skewers are vegan as we are now not too sure - staff definitely knew we were vegan upon ordering

Music, A View, One option - Edit
Warung Brothers moved a little further up the street with a steep, sketchy staircase and some windows you have to be careful not to fall out of.
Read moreThe actual space is cozy and the staff friendly. There is one or two local dishes that can be veganized. They are not particularly flavorful or filling, but they are tasty and unique.
The best part is the views of the bay from the outdoor seating and the live music on weekends.
Pros: View, Music
Cons: Few options

Only one option - but it was good - Edit
The menu is talked through (like a picture book) by a very enthusiastic server who tells you all about the dish. There was only one that was definitely vegan, it was tasty.

They have 2 vegan options , both of them were very good and original ! The place is very cute, and the atmosphere is great ! The owners are super friendly and really want to make you have a good time. You also have a nice view over the harbour. Would definitely recommend.

Yummy food with a view - Edit
While looking for shade and a quick bite to eat, we stumbled upon this place by accident. They weren’t actually open but invited us inside for a cold beer and a snack. The chief made me veggie version of a local tradition dish, which was delicious. We ended up staying for hours snacking, enjoying the view and a cold beer.

Nice sea view with good music. Dinner was very delicious with 4 vegetarian options (really recommendable). The waiter explained every meal and how they cook it. They were really kind and had a nice DJ as well.

Best vegan local food in Bajo - Edit
I went there almost every day and ate through their vegan dishes during my stay. The food was amazing. They offer special local dishes from around Flores and cook fresh. My favorites were Molas Reo (patty from tempeh and Coconut) and Tete Lomak (Tofu and Tempeh mixed with spices in kale). Also the salad was really good. The warung is owned by a local family who have build and designed all on their own. The tables and chairs are made from wood of sunken boats. Nice style!

Cons: Not all staff speaks English
