Awesome food and nice staff - Edit
We had the chickpea curry and fried tofu as well as a papaya salad for a starter.
Read moreAll were very delicious, though the curry was tending towards blandness.
The papaya salad is very spicy (like a 7-8 out of 10).

Good choice in La Gaulette - Edit
Had a few vegan options but checked with the waitress beforehand if it’s really vegan. We ordered the fried tofu and the chickpea curry, both come with rice. Therefore the portions are quite large. Food was very tasty, especially the tofu. Price is quite ok, payed about EUR 25 for two dishes and drinks. Can recommend if you are in the area.

Tasty food, little choices - Edit
Fantastic taste of food, but only little vegan options are available. It seems like it's the only restaurant in Le Morne with vegan options at all.
Read moreWe had a salad to share as a starter, a chickpea curry and the Tofu-dish. Everything tasted wonderful. The prices are higher then what we're used to in Mauritius, but still okay (about 2700 MUR for 3 plates with in total 4 sides, 1 bottle of water and 2 mojito).
Reservations are highly recommended, we were lucky to get a table without a reservation
As it's always windy here in Le Morne be sure to bring yourself a jacket or something like that.

Fried tofu - Edit
The fried tofu I ate here was the best tofu dish i've had in my entire life, it was so, so tasty. It is big cubes of tofu with red bell pepper and onion in a very tasty and a bit spicy chili sauce which was rich in flavour and very filling. It comes with rice.
Read moreSamosas also tasted very good, even though the portion was small because it is a side dish.
I recommend sitting inside because of the flies.
And i recommend ordering the corn without the butter because it's vegan then.
Very friendly staff, just nice and approachable.
Go there.
Pros: They offer vegan food, It's just a nice place, they serve fresh juices
Cons: curries are all non-vegan
