Vegan Options Available - Edit
I remember climbing some stairs painted in the shape of a rainbow to get to the restaurant. It's a very elegant and refined place, with some sumptuous buildings around it. The experience at the restaurant was good, the service was excellent and the food was very honest. We would go again.

Top notch ramen - Edit
Wow- this place is a MUST.
Read moreDelicious vegan chicken ramen and greens appetizer. Very flavorful and the vegan chicken had a great texture and consistency. They definitely loaded it up! So much food for a decent price as well. I’m so happy we decided to stop here for a late dinner.
Very nice inside and friendly staff.

Tasty and fresh - Edit
The vegan ramen was delicious - more like udon soup than what I usually think of as ramen, but still. The oyster mushrooms and the broth were especially tasty.

Can’t fault Wagamama - Edit
Despite being a large chain the food is always consistent, good quality, good value and served without fuss. Love the seitan katsu curry and the bang bang cauliflower is incredible.

It’s Wagamama - what do you expect - Edit
Wagamama have a great product which is perfectly consistent no matter where you go in the UK.
Read moreA light lunch in Wagamama’s Cardinal Place while working felt like the right place to eat. The music inside was too noisy to take a call and certainly not a video conference. But outside on a quiet table to one side, I had good WiFI from Wagamama and was able to make my calls.
With them out of the way lunch was a no duck donburi with a high five drink.
No duck donburi - it was exactly what they said it would be and looked the same as the menu too. The shredded seitan and shiitake mushrooms in a cherry hoisin sauce would have meat eaters second guessing if it was real duck or not. I loved it. The brown rice was nutty, the edamame beans had a bite, the kimchi, shredded cucumber, spring onion, gaz oakley had a refreshing and light flavour to the meal. The egg wasn’t a great addition (having had Yo Egg). The white coconut was too cold for the meal and the sriracha yolk didn’t pack enough flavour. The garnish of fresh coriander leaves and sesame seeds certainly made up for the egg and left a nice lingering taste in my mouth.
The High Five - a refreshing blend of melon, pineapple, lemon, apple and orange took the edge of the hot sunshine.
Would I go back - oh yes
Would I recommend - yes.

Standard Wagamama - Edit
Easy food near Victoria Station, good if you are eating with omni friends. Busy place so sometimes difficult to get service but otherwise good!

Excellent vegatsu (as always!) and the bang bang cauliflower was perfect. The food was ridiculously quick so it's great for a pre-theatre meal.

Good but also nothing special - Edit
Good option if you are in the area and looking for a place to eat when you are with meat-eaters. Make sure you ask for the separate veggie menu. See online at: https://www.wagamama.com/our-menu/vegan
Read moreI was a bit disappointed that this branch didn't have the new vegan dishes Seitan Katsu Curry, Kare Burosu Ramen, and Hirata Buns. I hear that they are also working on a proper vegan dessert (currently only have a couple of sorbets).
Update Dec 2018. this branch has those three dishes on their menu now too. Still waiting for a proper dessert 😁
Pros: Separate veggie menu with various vegan items, Has outside space away from traffic, Quick and friendly service
Cons: Not offering all vegan dishes, Currently unimaginative vegan desserts

endless edamame - Edit
A few vegan options here, some of which aren’t advertised on the main menu (I had pad Thai without the egg. This wasn’t advertised on the main menu, only the vegan menu) so make sure to ask for a vegan menu.
Read moreBe warned, the salted edamame were nice but felt endless if eating alone.
Pros: multiple options
