Pop Up - Boulder - Edit
Pretty good! The sandwiches are huge, flavorful, with good toppings. Wish the chick’n was a little less doughy and a little more crispy, but glad I got to give them a try while they were in town!

Cons: Crinkle cut fries

Pop up in Memphis - Edit
Vuture is a traveling food truck that does pop ups across the country. Check their website for dates & locations.
Read moreI love that this is a 100% vegan food truck and they do have a lot of options. The food is ok. If you like messy vegan junk food and tons of sauce you'd probably like it a lot. I enjoy trying new things and supporting vegan businesses, and it was a fun event. Based on food alone it wouldn't be my first choice in Memphis, but if they came in town again I might try it again.
Pros: All vegan, Lots of options
Cons: Messy, Not what I expected

Decent Vegan Junk Food - Edit
I've had Vuture several times as they have teams that travel the country. I did a photoshoot for them once, so I got to sample many of their menu items. I really like their massive chicken sandwiches. They have great flavors, the BBQ probably being my favorite. I also really like their loaded chicken fries with their sweet BBQ sauce. Their mozzarella sticks and drumsticks were not my favorite, but they were decent. Prices are a bit high, and wait times can be long, but overall it's pretty good vegan junk food.

Pop-Up Shop - Edit
I tried this when they were on one of their pop-up tours. The enjoyed the loaded fries the most, but I also tried two of the sandwiches. It is kind of expensive, but the portion sizes are very large

Pop- up in Seattle - Edit
I had heard lots of good things about Vuture Food so I was excited to try them out when they popped back up in Seattle.
Read moreI got there about 20 minutes after they opened and there was already a long line (understandably). I waited about 15 minutes before ordering. In the first 35 minutes, they were already running out of food (definitely get there early if you want anything!)
The not so fun part was the long wait for food- 40 minutes! Yikes!
The food itself was pretty good. I got the Hawaiian Chick’n Sandwich & the Fried Musa.
Customer service was good overall.
Pros: All vegan
Cons: Run out of food , Long wait times

We were lucky enough to check out this place when they came through Oregon last weekend. Definitely a junk food treat. Limited but tasty menu.

Pretty Good - Edit
Tried two of their sandwiches–one was great but the other, not so much. However this was at a pop up so I’m sure quality control is tough.
Read moreOne had a good thickness/breading but the other was almost too thick and more mushy than meaty.
Cons: Hit and miss

Out of state - Edit
I got to try Vuture Food in Denver for our most recent Veg Fest and this place was great! We didn’t try much but the shrimp fries were flavored well. The shrimp is just a piece of soy based stuff, but seriously the flavors were bomb. Our meat-heavy friends were very big fans of the Buffalo chicken sandwich

Vegan is the Future! - Edit
Finally was able to catch up with them! I happened to be in Minneapolis when they did their pop up there.
Read moreMango Habenero & Nashville were the 2 chkn sandwiches Ai tried. Loved the sauce on both. Chkn was good and crispy, just a tad too thick for my liking. Still very good though.
I also tried the buffalo chkn fries without ranch. Their fries are delicious with or without the extras.

Tasty Chick'n Sandwiches! - Edit
So far, I've tried Vuture Foods three times. The first was in Birmingham, Alabama, and it did not disappoint! Trying it was a last-minute decision, and I'm glad that we did choose to go! That time I had the buffalo chick'n sandwich, which was great. The second and third times were in Madison, AL, and while the second time I did manage to get that same sandwich, this last time it was unavailable. The Nashville Hot and the Jalapeno Cheddar ones were good too, but I honestly prefer the buffalo option😄
Read moreHighly recommend giving them a try if they're ever in your town!
Pros: Tasty Options, Options Vary
Cons: Doesn't Have a Permament Location, Pretty Expensive , My favorite item isn't always on the menu

DECADENCE - Edit
Finally got to try Vuture Food at RI VegFest!!! I was not disappointed. The most filling, decadent vegan junk food I have ever had. My friend (who is not vegan) was completely blown away and could not understand how her sandwich was vegan. Thank you for doing what you do!

Undercooked, mushy - Edit
I got food here from their Raleigh pop up. Been so excited about this & have been sharing their event everywhere but I can’t recommend.
Read more“Chicken bacon ranch” - inside of “chicken” patty was mushy (outside breading was good), “bacon” was off putting - just a mushy non cooked soy bacon. Like if you got vegan bacon from the store and put it on your sandwich cold out of the package. Very mushy & chewy. Ranch didn’t have much flavor. I did love the thick breading on the patty.
Seasoned fries - very under cooked, mushy, no seasoning
Mango habanero sandwich - the sauce on this was the best part of the meal

Come back to Florida!!! - Edit
I was lucky enough to have a chance to try Vuture when they were traveling and popping up across the country! I tried them when they were visiting West Palm Beach and they did not disappoint. I don’t think I will ever eat another chik’n sandwich that comes close to theirs—the way it looked and tasted was unlike any other! Their cheese fries gave me LIFE. I can’t wait for them to come visit again!
