Latin, but much more - Edit
Serves one of the very best vegan lasagnas in the 25 years I've been vegan. Came with a large mixed greens salad and a surprisingly good dressing (both in separate bowls).
Read moreMy companion had a burrito. It was huge and a poster for good nutrition.
The Central American mildly hot sauce looked homemade and was on every table.
The large TV screen and loud background music were distracting, but not quite a spoiler - the very good food compensated.
Pros: Generous portions, Everything served was very fresh
Cons: Background music distracting.

Authentic Mexican Food - Edit
I've never had vegan nachos that tasted as life-altering as these did. I really cannot express how scrumptious the sour cream, cheese, guac, and black bean combo tasted atop freshly made tortilla chips. Of course, the bean lady I am, I had to get a serving of beans and rice. Mexican rice, vegan style, did not disappoint, nor did the second round of beans.

Underwhelming - Edit
Poor service, could barely get their attention. Nachos were underwhelming, how can you screw that up.

Delicious Latin food - Edit
A wonderful cosy organic cafe with Mexican dishes. I loved this place so much that I dined at it twice. Very reasonably priced for an organic restaurant. I loved the interior and also the friendly people working there. The cheesy quesadillas and Avocado fritters are a must!

Que delicioso! - Edit
Have been to the original park slope sister spot years ago and was impressed with the empanadas. Had a delightful lunch burrito at this location. Wait staff was attentive and nice. Restaurant was clean and littered with beautiful art by various artists. Not to mention the portions were generous and the food was great! Didn't make me feel overstuffed or heavy! Plus it's right down the block from Barcade!!!

Empanada Cravings Satisfied! - Edit
V spot organic has an incredible variety of Latin American menu options and something to satisfy any craving. My two favorite menu items are the empanads (any of them are wonderful) and the AVOCADO FRIES! I have visited the East Village location and the staff is very friendly and it's a great atmosphere. The host events here as well on certain nights.

Their menu is extensive, I would recommend to any vegetarian/vegan who want to eat latin food without feeling frustrated by the limited veggie options.

Latin american food and outside seating - Edit
We got there on a Saturday afternoon, ready for a late lunch, and were able to get a seat at one of the tables outside; a nice plus as it gives you the chance to observe the liveliness of St Mark's.
Read moreI went for the Supreme Quesadilla which was amazing. I love plantains and this mix of flavors was just perfect. Also I definitely liked the serving size. I got a taste of my friend's Arepa con todo and it was also delicious.
The service was nice, although we sometimes felt a little forgotten - maybe because we were so out of sight? ;)
Pros: outdoor seating, tasty latin american food

Amazing food. Our waitress was very friendly. Ordered the spinach burrito with a kale Caesar salad and it was incredible. The food took a little long to come out but it was delicious. Had the raspberry vanilla cupcake for dessert. Amazing!

LOVE! - Edit
The V-Spot is one of my favorite neighborhood places for dinner and brunch on weekends. The restaurant is very clean and modern, and they have a fairly large back area, I imagine for events, though I've never seen anyone sitting back there. Their tortas and lasagna are incredible and they even deliver when I'm feeling lazy. Overall, five stars and highly recommended!

This place is done right and with tons of love. The empanadas are amazing and all the food is seasoned perfectly. I went two days I a row during my last visit! All the dishes are well composed and the food texture is great. I ate at a bunch of vegan restaurants in NYC and this was by far the best!

Fancy vegan dining - treat yourself - Edit
The stuffed poblano pepper with cilantro rice was topped with juicy pomegranate seeds that gave a sweet and sour pop to the mild spiciness of the pepper - very creative and delicious.

My husband and I stopped by vspot on a whim and we were absolutely blown away! The empanadas were so amazing, we could have devoured 20 of them. The portions are large and the prices are reasonable enough. The doctor is upscale but still casual. We are coming back ASAP!

nice twist on vegan - Edit
The food is excellent, and the Latin-oriented menu makes for unique vegan dining. The wait staff is very friendly and efficient, and the decor pleasant (though the over-amped music makes it a bit too loud). The only drawback are the chairs, which are beyond uncomfortable--they are more like torture racks. Best to either eat quickly or get take-out until civilized seats replace the existing ones.
Read morePros: Tasty food, well-prepared., Thoughful, well-planned menu., Friendly wait staff.
Cons: Excruciatingly uncomfortable chairs., Music too loud., Bathrooms not handicapped accessible.
