Inexpensive local food with helpful staff - Edit
Traditional Cretan food among a lot of similar mostly fish restaurants offering largely the same dishes. Lovely friendly staff who can help you with choices or even make something off menu. They know what vegan means and can eg serve dolmas without the yoghurt. Lovely fresh fries. Greens are a must, with a squeeze of lemon.
