I'll be back - Edit
Had the udon duck bbq dish. Tons of flavor but not overwhelming so. Very delicious. The veggies were crisp and fresh tasting. The udon was thick and well cooked. The fake meat was surprisingly tender and flavorful. I'll definite visit again.

New Favorite! - Edit
We had a great meal. We ordered a variety of dishes: tofu spring rolls, fried dumplings, udon stir-fried with mock duck and a large salad. Everything was fresh and came out quickly. The owner is very welcoming and made sure we were enjoying everything. Another plus, there are other vegan goodies to take away: cookies, desserts and vegan beef jerky. We’ll be back!

Wonderful - Edit
The menu is vegan and includes meat "replacements" in the dishes that are fantastic! They helped make my picky kids meals they would enjoy too.😄I'm excited to go back!

New fav restaurant! - Edit
This place is awesome! My boyfriend and I wanted to have a date night but we couldn’t decide where to go so we found this place on happycow and just drove to Cerritos. The owner was so cool, he was very welcoming and had some cool stories. He asked if he could choose our food for us which we agreed to and he chose the duck fried rice and udon stir fry as well as 2 spring rolls and they were all so good. We then talked to his wife who also made the s’mores cookie and the taro pudding that we had. Taro pudding was such a nice highlight since it’s hard to find and tasted so good. We will definitely be going back here again!

Bahn mi not on the menu. A little too fake “meaty”, but still was good. Would ask for tofu next time.

What's not to love about this place!?! - Edit
This has easily become my new favorite vegan restaurant, they're not shy with their spices and portioning for that matter. I highly recommend this place!

My favorite pho!! - Edit
The new location is awesome. Standing proud between a Sam Woo BBQ and a large seafood restaurant, Vinh Loi Tofu is a lovely oasis, and slightly more spacious than the original. The menu is a bit smaller but that saves me from being (even more) indecisive! There is a selection of pho, of appetizers, salads, dry noodles, and rice dishes, so it's plenty to keep everyone fed. Being a long time fan of the pho, I initially didn't see a reason to order a rice dish, but I was very glad to be proven wrong, the duck bbq fried rice was so good!
Read moreAll dishes are vegan but non-herbivores will be perfectly fine. The soups have deep flavors and unlike other places that just use water with soy sauce as their veg option for soup, these are hearty and chock full of goodies. You can never go wrong with Kevin's #1 pho, which is a lemongrass base and has slices of mock meat.
If you're already a fan of the Reseda location but don't want to venture to the Valley, the Cerritos location will make you happy. Still in it's soft opening phase I'm sure this place will evolve, but seeing that it's the same family that runs both, it's a guarantee you'll love your food.
*update: they've been open for a couple of months now and have it up and running like a well oiled machine. My go-to pho is the curry one with just a slight kick of spice that keeps me happy. I'm rather addicted to it, along with the chicken nugget appetizer. Before you check out, grab one of their new cookies or puddings.

An Australian Visitor - Edit
A nice clean, Vietnamese vegan restaurant only open two months. While my non-vegan family eat nearby, it is so easy for me to walk to VLT. My first meal here was the Adam "Chicken" Rolls and dipping sauce followed by the Udon Stir Fried with BBQ "Duck". The rolls were nice and light with the usual tasty Vietnamese dipping sauce. The Udon noodles were slightly sweet but not overly so. The vegetables were still crispy and the mock meat nice and juicy. Nothing to complain about here and well worth a return visit.

Vegan Vietnamese - Edit
Good portions and the food tasted like home cooking, except that it’s vegan. Located in what used to be a BCD Tofu House within a strip mall next to Sam Woo BBQ.
