Great grocery store, source of Asian-oriented ingredients - Edit
Nice variety of produce & frozen vegan items. Not much that is organic or local, however. Convenient location.
Read morePros: Altho not organic, interesting variety of produce, Lots of frozen vegan proteins(fake meats), seitan, Vegan "fish," strir-fry sauces, etc.
Cons: Of course the smell of some products (e.g., fish), Not all labels are in English., Staff are friendly though not all speak English.

Note: There is a large meat/sea life section that is mainly avoidable unless you are looking for home goods or frozen goods. However, by the checkout, there is a restaurant with hanging meats, which is not avoidable. If this makes you uncomfortable, I recommend considering skipping this market.
Read moreVinh Hung Market is large, with many isles of goods. A few of the sections that stood out to me as a vegan included the vegan frozen meats, produce, and curry pastes.
The produce section had a decent amount of goodies, especially herbs. One odd thing is that their produce is priced per pound and not labeled on the produce itself, so you have to guess the price. However, in the back of the produce section, there was a freezer of only vegan and vegetarian goodies. Vegans, ensure your package says vegan, as the vegetarian ones have eggs. They had vegan chicken, three types of shrimp, ham, etc. There was also a large section of curry pastes, and while many had fish products, many did not (and some were even labeled vegan!).
