Great experience! - Edit
While they’re only open from 7 AM to 2 PM, they serve breakfast all day. My husband had the tofu scramble. It is full of veggies. He added salsa to give it additional flavor, although I thought it was fine as it is.Just make sure you ask for no butter on your toast. They have a wonderful jelly available, so no worries.
Read moreI had their falafel wrap. Just make sure to not get any of the sauce, as sauce is nit vegan. I opted to sprinkle with balsamic vinegar. The falafel is fresh and the wrap was large. I opted for a cup of soup as my side because they had a vegan option. Our waitress let us know that they always have two soups and one is usually vegetarian, not necessary vegan. You just need to ask!
The service was great, including the helper who kept all the tables clean.
Pros: Breakfast all say, Fresh falafel wrap, Wonderful service
Cons: No “in-house” vegan sauces

Good food and service - Edit
Can do oat or almond milk for your coffee/tea.
Read moreNothing is marked as vegan explicitly on the menu, so I ordered the tofu scramble and made sure to say no butter on the toast based on other comments here.
Service was great and the waiter was very helpful and accommodating with questions to verify no dairy/meat/eggs in things.
Food was really good!
Also wanted to comment, they have this cool app where you can see your place on the wait-list since they were very busy when I arrived. Wish more restaurants did that! They also have a to-go window where you can get coffee while you wait.

Ok in a pinch - Edit
They have a tofu scramble for breakfast, but when they served the toast with butter on it, it made me question whether the dish is actually vegan on its own. I think I trusted the previous ratings too blindly. Future patrons: ask whether the dish can be made vegan instead if assuming it comes that way, like I did. Dish itself was fine but VERY salty! They do have oat milk for coffee which was great.

Good veg & vegan options - Edit
Kudos to Village Smithy for having a vegan tofu scramble, veggie green chili, and the impossible burger. Hope they'll continue offering more options in the future! Maybe olive oil instead of butter on their toast?

Great Veg options - Edit
Awesome breakfast place. In an area that isn't very vegan/vegetarian friendly this place is a nice surprise. The tofu scramble is delicious and has nice bits of veggies in the mix. I like that it's fluffy and yellow (tumeric) instead of bland chunks. The hashbrowns are good and the kashi and zucchini pilaf (smithy 7) is a unique side. They also have some veggie lunch items.

Cons: Only open for Breakfast and lunch
