Serves meat, vegan options available. Very traditional Italian restaurant that offers traditional cultural fare some of which can be modified to comply with a vegan lifestyle. The gazpacho- without the cheese- is recommended. Also can be made vegan- bomba bravo, a potato appetizer, duo do carciofi an artichoke appetizer, and various traditional Italian pizzas. Open Mon-Fri 13:30-16:00, Mon-Wed 19:30-22:30, Thu-Sat 19:30-23:00, Sat-Sun 12:30-16:30, Sun 19:30-22:30.

Almost no vegan food option - Edit
This place is only good (in my personal opinion) for what we call in Spanish "postureo": if you don't care about veganism and just want to post Instagram pictures this is your place. Yes the interior is cute etc etc but they barely have vegan options. When I went there I almost ate nothing, food pictures are from someone vegetarian who was with me (who did like the pizza though).

decepcionante - Edit

Limited options - Edit
The atmosphere is lovely and the food is high quality. But there is just so little options for vegans. The only main I could have was the marinara (which was so fresh and tasted great) and the artichokes but we had to ask for the cream to be taken off and put on the side for my friends. So the only real noted vegan things are the bread and olives and the marinara. It is stated that they do a monthly menu, so perhaps I went on a bad month but I was checking all the time to see their menu over 5 months and it never changed. Thus, it needs a lot of work and big mama group should do this with all their restaurants as a lot of people go for the atmosphere and the restaurant decoration.

Phenomenal Surprise Italian! - Edit
What a find. This restaurant checks all the boxes to an extreme. Food is by far one of the best Italian meals I have ever had. The bread to start out is fresh homemade in copious quantities. The gazpacho - without the cheese - is one of the best I’ve ever tasted. The pizza - a couple of which can be made vegan - was light. The crust almost melts in your mouth. The vegan pesto is an excellent substitute for cheese for those purists that sometime prefer not eating substitutes.
Read moreThe service is - bar none - one of the best I have experienced in a long, long time; attentive, polite, easygoing, conversational. Everyone clearly enjoys what they do. Moreover, for those of you like myself who are put off by the constant smoking at outdoor cafes in Madrid, Villa Capri is no smoking EVEN OUTSIDE! You will NOT be disappointed!
