BLOWN AWAY

This place is pure magic! Not easy to spot from street view, but definitely go spent the time to find it. It's a psychedelic themed restaurant and cocktail bar in three levels, with occasionally live music. The menu is vegetarian with a big Arian (meaning lots of cheese in many of the dishes) but still possible to choose out from a couple, as a vegan! The food was freshly prepared and was served hot and in big portions. Beautifully decorated plates with flowers and salad. The prices for the food is way up, (a portion of papa criollas is 16000 ) wouldn't hesitate to do it again, super delicious! Especially also when able to watch the cooks prepare it all, through a little window by the counter. The place offers a lot of varieties of seating, from bar stools to couches, in the center of the room or hidden in the corner of the balcony. Beautiful light setting and good subtle music - this place is a must go to for everyone coming to Medellin! Ps. If you like this place, also check out a restaurant a little further down the street, same owner but serves meat, in just as beautiful surroundings; Alambique, Cra. 41 #106, Medellín, Antioquia, Colombia
