Incredible food, great dining experience, owner/chef speaks English - Edit
We’re so happy we went to this all vegan restaurant owned and operated by one guy living his passion. The place is absolutely tiny so if you’re not okay with squeezing past people at the bar (the only seating) to leave or go to the “WC” then you can order take away.

The food was delicious. We got the beefy falafel bowl and the beefy cheesy bowl, both for dinner so as set meals that came with miso soup and a small plate of various pickles. We recommend going a similar order route we did where you get to try more than one thing (esp his “beefy” dishes) which we think are seitan in amazing sauce.
We also recommend the amazake (fermented rice milk mixed with soy milk) which is very sweet despite having no added sugar, all sweetness comes from the rice milk.
Very pleased to give this place 5 stars!

The ”beef” bowl is top 1, the falafel is super nice, and the guy running the place is the sweetest guy I’ve ever met! You can also spend a good while drinking here. Absolutely lovely.

The best in Tokyo - Edit
This is the coolest restaurant/bar in Tokyo. I had the thai curry and it was excellent. The place is super cool and the guy that works there is kind and friendly. What a surprise in a traditional neighborhood like Yanaka.

The owner is so cool and fun! He explained the delicious fermented rice milk drink is sake but alcohol free so cool! He also gave us free cookies & made us feel at home & welcomed. Food was so good too

This tiny restaurant is a must when in Tokyo. It serves falafel integrated with japanese typical flavours (such as pickled vegetables). Everything tastes so good and the owner is such a nice person. We will come back for sure. The place is really tiny, best for two max fuor people.

We ordered two falafel sandwich sets with a (good and fruity IPA) beer and a pineapple juice as drink, included in the set. Corn soup was nice, mainly due to corn freshness. Plates served falafel sandwich with a smooth hummus and nice tomato along a rich salad.
Definitely recommend. Owner is nice, atmosphere is cozy.

The food was delicious, it's such a hidden little place that I never would have found it without Happy Cow. I hope more people can come and enjoy the food here. I had a falafel sandwich, I think the food options are more limited right now due to Covid.

It only does take out now (probably because of corona). We got the falafel sandwich and the curry plate. Tasty food and friendly owner. We had to eat the curry with hashi. Ask for a spoon !
