Great vegan food - Edit
July 2024 Update- I returned to Verdi twice this year while in Tela. The food was amazing again. They had a vegan pesto that made the zucchini pasta even more delicious. The restaurant is small, but very clean. As before, the restaurant is not all vegan, but there is a separate menu listing all the vegan and vegetarian options.

This restaurant is not all vegan or vegetarian, but does offer options that are vegan and vegetarian. I had the vegan tacos. They were delicious with amazing flavor. The serving side was perfect. It was all so fresh. The owners are friendly and knowledgeable about vegan and vegetarian food.

So happy to find Verdi! - Edit
After struggling to find a decent vegan meal in this area, we were so happy to spot Verdi while walking around Tela. Vegan options are plentiful and clearly labeled. We got zucchini carpaccio, veggie curry, and cauliflower wings with chia lemonade. Everything was fresh and well prepared. Nice to get some good veggies and not have to explain what we cannot eat. They also have a full bar. Service was slow, but it was worth the wait!
