Wonderful happy hour Italian - Edit
As well as being vegan, I'm gluten free. When I was much younger I used to love visiting Italian restaurants that were 'cheap and cheerful' but still hit the spot. I feel I have found this again with Vercelli and their happy hour offer. Perfect potato skins for a starter and lovely pasta dishes, with the offer of grated vegan parmesan. I've not tried the pizza here yet. I have my eye on the pea and asparagus risotto though! Friendly and attentive service too.

Outstanding range - Edit
Clearly very busy but friendly service and decent knowledge of the menu (had to ask twice for the vegan menu but when it came it didn’t disappoint)

Super reliable - Edit
We’ve been regulars at Vercelli since it opened. It’s had a lot invested in the place over the years to modernise the space and extend. It’s super smart now and it was great to be back in April for a family birthday.
Read moreThe service was friendly, attentive and spot on. All our food was great & my vegan pizza was very enjoyable.
If you’re in town or passing through it’s highly recommended. Weekends I’d book as it’s very popular at peak times.

Separate vegan menu - Edit
Lovely place, with really nice staff and great service. Has a separate vegan menu which is a little limited - it’s mostly pizza or fairly basic pasta dishes but for an Italian place, even having a separate vegan menu is great. I had the rigatoni which came with a tomato and olives sauce and was lovely. There is one vegan dessert of ice cream - vanilla, chocolate or strawberry.
