No longer all that vegan-friendly

The description of this place above is outdated; I was only able to get our server to prepare me a plate of black beans, rice, and salsa. I inquired about the listed options, but was told that they are not being served there. The dish I ate was fine, nothing special.

Great falafel burger

I would give more stars if there were more vegan options, but the falafel burger and fries I ordered was surprisingly good. The hummus is pretty good too!

Pros: Good food, Cool atmosphere, Great location in downtown Greenville

Cons: Few vegan options

Chill place to grab a bite

Very laid back place with vegan options! Great to see a little pub with lots of families hanging out. We enjoyed the House salad with falafel and Falafel burger. My kids had black beans and rice which was chock full of beans and little rice. My kids found it bland and ended up ordering PB& J for them. Nice to be able to enjoy dinner with family. My in laws enjoyed the pot pies.

Pros: A few vegan options for all ages, Laid back, Family friendly

Cons: Slow service

good

Great atmosphere & location, but vegan choices are limited. My husband and I both ordered Falafel Burger. It was ok. A little dry & came on flatbread instead of bun. Homemade fries/chips were good.

Pros: location, good for vegetarians , atmosphere

Cons: not many vegan options

I really want to like it

It's such a cute idea, and it's great for drinks. But the tables are cramped, the lighting is way to dim to be considered "mood lighting", and there aren't really many vegan options. The eastern option used to occasionally be vegan, but it isn't anymore. I know I've gotten the falafel burger before, and I'm sure it was good, but it wasn't special or memorable. But if you're looking for a dimly lit place to drink a bunch, they do have a good beer and liquor selection. And the staff is friendly.

Pros: Beer, Alcohol, Vegan options

Cons: Cramped seating, Dim lighting, Food is meh

Great Atmosphere

I really enjoy the Velo Fellow.
I've been here a few times and the atmosphere is really cool, I'm sure they were going for a late 1800's English vibe, and they hit the mark. Very laid back vibe here. They have some decent vegetarian options - I've had their falafel burger and pimento cheese appetizer - very tasty, but the menu is mostly meaty. Great place for a pint, but just ok as far as the veg menu goes, but it's better than nothing, which is the case in most of Greenville.

Pros: Atmosphere, Beer selection

Cons: Limited Veg entree selections

Best American Vegan Option in Downtown Greenville

It is hard to find vegan options on the menu of most pubs/bars in Greenville. There are several great options on the menu at Velo and the staff are helpful in tailoring other items as well. The bartenders are great and the music allows conversation. Nothing fancy at Velo - just good, healthy bar food options.

Pros: Food quality and preparation, Staff, Music

Cons: Eastern option on menu never vegan
