Coffeehouse and restaurant est. 2015 and is the first 100% vegan restaurant in Strasbourg. Features a variety of savory foods as well as daily desserts. Serves dishes like vegan cheese boards, loaded hotdogs, and burgers as well as baguette sandwiches and tonic salads. The dessert case is filled with a colorful assortment of mini cakes, slices, and treats like tarlets and brownies. Coffee and fresh juices available. Visited today on a hot summer's day and their patio was lovely, with lots of large shady umbrellas on a quiet street near the university. There was a weekday "formule dejeuner" which was good value as their regular menu is a bit on the pricey side. I started with the gazpacho which was just a 3€ add on to the menu of the day and it was the most delicious gazpacho I've ever had. The main was a lentil and chickpea stew with grilled pineapple and it sounded a bit boring but in fact was delicious as well. Both dishes were presented in a very lovely way. The service was friendly and attentive. The dessert case looked amazing but I didn't get a chance to try anything.

Was here with a group of non vegans and our vegan family. Everyone enjoyed their food, especially the Moussaka and Hashi Parmentier. The pâtisseries for dessert are great. Appreciated all the gluten free options.

I was expecting a bit more, as the restaurant is more on a fine-dining side and is quite pricey. My dish was nice, but not really exceptional. Maybe I just chose wrong dish 🙂 The restaurant itself looks nice and the cakes looked delicious, but we didn't have time for a dessert. Maybe we will gave it another try when in Strasbourg.

Pastries are amazing. Cannot speak highly enough. The gluten free options existed and were great. Biggest plus was not having to pay €5/bottle for fizzy water, because French restaurants will serve still water for free (accustomed to German restaurant hospitality).

We came here for dinner and it's worth noting firstly that while it's listed as open during the day, it seems like they don't serve dinner before 7pm (they might serve coffee but certainly seemed very shut when we arrived at 6:30).
Read moreOnce we were eating though it was good, the food is nice and there's a good range on offer. It is quite expensive, especially the tartare which portion wise is probably what you'd expect for 'gourmet' food, and I was a little disappointed to taste some grit in my salad. My partner had the 'votdog' though and said it was great.
The puddings steal the show with a great range at reasonable prices and tastes amazing. It's a good place to go for dinner if a little expensive, and I would definitely recommend trying one of their puddings (eat in or takeaway)!

Süße Nachspeise - Edit
Haben kleine süße Dessert mit genommen. Preise werden unterschiedlich berechnet. Hatten ein Zitrone Törtchen welches wirklich sauer schmecke sowie eine Feigentarte die lecker nussig war also nur zu empfehlen wenn man nichts über zuckertes haben möchte. Aber dennoch ein Schleckermauel- chen ist.
