Likely permanently closed - Edit
Luckily we made it just before on Google Maps they were changed to “permanently closed”. I don’t read Japanese well but believe their latest post states they have closed their business. Very sad as they were clearly very passionate about veganism as had amazing ramen.

Glad to have saved you a trip! We walked past the food court and the entire food court is now closed, including Plant Based Tokyo in the same food court.

We are planning a trip at the end of October, does anyone know if they are planning on opening again?
Read moreThere's no info on their website, in fact it's possible to reserve seats.
I'm trying to find more info online if the food court is open or not.
Does anyone know?
ForAnimalsJapan
It seems the entire food hall closed, not just VeJin. I have not heard anything yet about them reopening in a new venue, sadly.

Great, unique tasting ramen! - Edit
I had this for dinner the first night in Tokyo, definitely recommend as it’s open till late and had little to no queues. It’s inside a food hall, but really easy to spot. They had loads of options which was great - I got a ramen which has a very unique taste but yummy nevertheless!

Great vegan tantan ramen - Edit
Like described, it’s set up in a food court where not every restaurant is vegan, but this one and the Plant Based Tokyo are. We got some beers from another counter and then ordered the tantanmen and gyoza. Both vere delicious, would come here again!

Great ingredients, could have more flavor - Edit
Located in a busy food hall (went there on a Friday evening) that had other plant-based restaurants inside (which also looked delicious).
Read morePresentation of the shio/salt ramen truffle oil special was beautiful and taste was fair-to-good. Personally, it could use a bit more umami and be served steaming hot (as they would in most other ramen restaurants). Nonetheless, I was satisfied that there is a vegan ramen option in Tokyo!

Vegan Ramen and More - Edit
Ramen broth was very flavorful. Also enjoyed the gyoza. Grabbed some beer from the bar located in the same little food court. Was a very short walk from our hotel by Shinjuku station. Open until 10pm most nights.

Decent ramen shop - Edit
The ramen and gyoza I got here tasted pretty good, but were a bit too salty and oily for my liking. I was also a bit weirded out by the meat-like objects in the soup.

Vegan Ramen near Shinjuku Station - Edit
This is our new favorite restaurant in Tokyo. We've been here twice already, ordering the same thing both times. It's that good, trust me.
Read moreThis restaurant is hidden in the back corner of the Food Blast food hall. You order at the same counter as another vegan restaurant (we got confused about this the first time). Not all the restaurants in the food hall are vegan, but most have veggie options. Great place to bring vegan and non-vegans alike

Delicious Ramen and Gyoza - Edit
We tried the Vege Soy Sauce Ramen and the Vege Gyoza. This was my first experience trying ramen in Japan and honestly was the best ramen I’ve ever had.
Read moreThe broth was creamy and delicious, and the noodles were cooked perfectly. Highly recommend you try the gyozas as well, they were great. Can’t wait to go back again!

good ramen + great location ! - Edit
Ordered the recommended set Ramen 5 Gyozas. Good ramen if you like a bit of spice, but not as firm noodles or creamy soup as other vegan ramens i’ve tried. Lots of options and great location. Overall super convenient but definitely not the best vegan ramen place in tokyo.

Not good :/ - Edit
We went because of all the good reviews, but honestly, the food wasn't good. We ordered from both the Ramen place and the linked vegan place in the food hall.

It was fine - Edit
The Ramen was fine, seemed salty to me but, I’m not a big Ramen person, but I still wanted to eat it in Japan. The dumplings I ordered were very good and crispy. Still encourage others to try.

A bit hit and miss - Edit
My partner had a tan tan ramen and thoroughly enjoyed it. It had a good spicy kick without being too spicy. There was also lots of great sesame flavour making for a delicious broth. The meaty chunks on top had a good taste and texture. The noodles were plentiful and delicious. She felt it suffered a bit from not having any other toppings though and would have enjoyed a bit more variety.
Read moreI had one of the specials, which had truffle in it and it didn't quite hit the mark for me. I like truffle, the broth had plenty of truffle flavour coming through and was very enjoyable. There were some nice sauteed mushrooms and I enjoyed the fried leek topping too.
However, I found the meat slices on the top to be disappointing. They didn't have much bite or flavour and felt like a pretty rubbish processed meat - a bit like luncheon meat. There were chunks of yuzu rind that were just a bit too big and gave a bit too much of a citrus burst in the bites they came in. Overall, it didn't quite work for me and I should have just gone for a more traditional flavoured bowl, this was confirmed when I tried some of the delicious tan tan
If I'd chosen a different dish this place easily could have been a 4* review

The best ramen I found in Japan - Edit
I tried the truffle ramen, gyozas and a small bowl with rice and apparently some "pig" was quite spicy. It's the only thing I would not recommend, but the rest was so good.

Decent. A bit hard to navigate to. - Edit
I went here one of the days I was in Tokyo. I think I ordered the miso ramen.
Read moreIt was pretty decent, and the price was fair for the serving size.
I found that the ramen got better as I ate more of it.
Overall, it was a good enough meal that I would come back, especially given it's direct proximity to another vegan restaurant. I think this would be a good place to bring omni eaters, since its a food court with a ton of options for picky eaters.
Be aware that it can be a bit hard to navigate to, but not to the degree of something inside one of the main stations. Typical skyscraper GPS interference.

Good ramen - Edit
Ramen in the Food Hall Blast! complex. It was a little confusing to find it -- order for VeJin Tokyo Vege Ramen in Plant-Based Tokyo.
Read moreSolid ramen. Broth was flavorful, and noodles were good. Some of the toppings were just okay for me. For example, I liked the idea of the crispy carrot bacon, but the flavor didn't quite get there.
The kitchen was having so much fun making the ramen though, dancing around and joking with each other which made us smile too. It's also convenient that you can order from here and Plant-Based Tokyo at the same time if you're looking for some variety.
