oh so special and SO very good!

moving to Hildesheim, this was a not-to-miss event every month. unfortunately, I haven't been for a while, BUT the veggie brunch is totally recommended! Price is 5 Euro now - which is a bargain thining about what you get for it (drinks, breakfast and lunch - if you wish). I usually go with a friend or bring a book and just sit around for 1-2 hours. atmosphere is great, the people who run the brunch really nice and the quality amazing! i love the variety as every time there's different food to choose from - but every time it's insanely good! can't think of any place i'd rather spend a saturday morning at (when not hungover from the night before) :)

Pros: taste, variety, price

Cons: should happen more often :)

Made with Love

The monthly VegiBrunch at Kufa has become extremely popular and you have to be there early if you don't want to sit on the stairs. No surprise - the food is fresh and prepared with lots of love and you can eat and drink as much as you want for only 4 euros! First, there are some sweet and savory spreads and homemade bread rolls that are still hot and come straight out of the oven. At around 12.30 warm dishes are served that change every month: sometimes pasta and/or soup, sometimes German classics such as savoy cabbage or potato dishes... but always delicious. The atmosphere is warm with people of all ages mingling. VegiBrunch is a non-profit project by a collective of people who want to share their passion for the vegan lifestyle and you can definitely feel that. If you like to party, be sure to check out the drum & bass party "Bootyshakin'" taking place later at the same venue on the same day of the month. Also, on Thursdays and on weekend nights the Kufa serves some tasty veggie burgers with different toppings.

Pros: Cozy, friendly atmosphere, Drinks included, Always tasty and inexpensive

Cons: Usually very crowded, Difficult to move after eating so much
