Vegan naan bread! - Edit
Arrived a bit late (14.50) with 10 friends but the very friendly and service minded owner made us a delicious lunch. Vegetable stew with rice, complete with fresh salad, yummy naan bread, coffe with oat milk, and even a little vegan chocolate candy, for a very moderat price.

Me and two friends passed through Borås and stayed here for a late lunch. A few dishes to choose from, with clear labels on what was vegan. The one I took included raita, which was confirmed to be vegan without me even asking when the food was brought out, which I appreciated. One of my friends asked if he could get anything to make the dish more spicy and was then provided with a few chilis at first, and a moment later also a small bowl with hot sauce that had been mixed together upon the request.
Read moreAs with many Indian restaurants, the portions were very generous, but they can provide you with a box if you don't feel like getting too stuffed and instead bring parts with you. For lunch you will get a bowl with salad and a (vegan) naan along with the dish you choose.
This is a great place if you want a no nonsense Indian lunch or dinner served by friendly and service minded people!

Visited with a group of friends and had the chana masala, but made with chana dal as it’s easier to digest and coconut oil instead of their default canola oil (as no oil was impossible). It tasted alright, nothing special. I missed vegetables, but as ingredients were not organic I didn’t feel thrilled to get a side salad. They have mango lassi which they can make sugar free, but it’s based on non-organic soy so I didn’t try. Dinner portion was VERY large and I didn’t want to be impolite so I ate it all and felt like [censored] 🙃 Apparently doggy bags are a thing there - wish I had known/that it had been on the menu. What else? Toilet was very clean and nice. There were only refined rice to pair with one’s chosen main course. I wouldn’t return myself, but at least the place is vegetarian and the food home cooked (or so it felt, they seemed annoyed when I asked questions). My friends said the deep fried papedam was nice if you’re into such things ☺️

I eat lunch here as often as I can! have tried a lot of different dishes and all of them are super good! it's fresh, fast, and cheap. the staff is really nice and Will remember you and what you like, the owner is good at reading his guests whether they want to talk or not and relates to it. he always checks if everything is ok and if anything more is needed. Would have gotten 10 stars if I could give them that! love this place!

We as a family were visiting Borås and saw the VegGoa restaurant while on the bus. Being vegetarian decided to try it and it has been one of the best experiences.

Customization in terms of vegetarian and Vegan was available and explained well in the restaurant.
Must visit while in Borås!!!
