Best grilled salads!

Love seeing Veggie Velo on the streets of Adelaide or popping-up at The Marketshed on Holland or Plant 4 Bowden because I know I'm going to get an amazing, fresh, filling, affordable meal! I go gluten-free & opt for a grilled salad; pumpkin, tofu, alfalfa, greens. Big! Yum!! Nicest, happy staff/chefs.

Pros: Fresh, healthy, yummy, Big portions, Really friendly

Cons: None, None, None

Great

One of adelaide's best kept secrets. Manu slaves away weekly to provide Adelaide with the best healthy style vegetarian and vegan burgers/salads and snacks. Check them out at different locations. The cart is 90 percent vegan, with the exception of one burger that contains haloumi. All other condiments and ingredients are 100 percent vegan and made from scratch in the Juice Lovers Kitchen! Great!

Pros: vegan options, funky, great staff

Cons: none

Okay

Found the Veggie Velo at the Market Shed in Adelaide on a Sunday. Waited for 10 minutes which was reasonable because each burger is made fresh and they're quite popular. Got the nacho burger which was okay but really nothing special (although they're quite big). Vegetarian and vegan burgers are made on the same grill, using the same spatula to pick up the vegan burger patties and the cheese for the Halloumi burger (also the staff doesn't change their plastic gloves) so there is a chance of getting traces of cheese in your vegan burger. Prices will rise to 12$ in the future so if you have the choice try something different.

Pros: Burgers are fresh, Lovely staff selling the burgers

Cons: Serves Cheese, Chance of cross contamination

Veggie velo has a strict policy with a different area and spatula for the cheese and the vegan patties, unsure what you think you saw but this is definitely not something they do and the owner prides himself in avoiding cross contamination.

Best vegan burgers!

Lovely French man with a bicycle food cart who pops up everywhere serving burgers. He has also added a dessert cart to his set up. Fresh ingredients cooked with love. He is truly delightful and his food is tasty. Check out his Facebook Page to find out where he is.

Pros: Best vegan burger....ever!, Friendly, Local, fresh ingredients, well priced

Cons: He's popular; sometimes there is a wait but it is
