The most authentically vegan experience you will have in all of Portugal. The owner was super friendly and really thought of some creative recipes. My favorite was the lasagna with black eyed peas added for protein, I would have never thought of that and it was such a delicious idea. All the food we had was really wonderful. O Veggiemomi além de ser um espaço acolhedor com um atendimento muito muito muito simpático, querido e dedicado por parte da proprietária (que até partilha receitas), oferece comidas veganas caseiras, saborosíssimas! Além de também disponibilizar para a venda alguns produtos veganos cruelty-free e influenciar o ativismo através das imagens e mensagens expostas. Confesso que as mensagens espalhadas pelo local despertou o ativismo vegano em mim. Achei o menu bastante variado e oferece até sobremesas! Amei a torta de mocha, yummy! Por trás desta linda iniciativa, há um forte objetivo de espalhar a mensagem de amor e da igualdade. Vida longa ao veggiemomi! ♥

Friendly owner and I love a fully, vegan-owned, female-run shop, but the meal wasn't anything I couldn't make (better) at home. I ordered the rosemary sausages and they were nicely done Lind McCartney sausages with some couscous and bagged salad. No special sauce or anything.

Read moreHe had the beyond burger, I had the open sandwich with tofu, avocado, 2 different cheeses and crisps, it was a very full plate. I was given a bite for my baby (bump) which was very cute and thoughtful, it was delicious and made with soya meat. I took the chocolate cake away to eat later, it was delicious!
We arrived quite late, around 2.30 and it shuts at 3.00 before reopening at 6.30. She was very accommodating as we didn’t leave until 3.40!

Came Albufeira for a lads holiday May 2019, a little late leaving my review but didn’t have happy cow then. As you can imagine the town wasn’t plentiful of vegan eateries and first two days was beans on toast and jacket potatoes etc, managed to find Veggie Momi and came back every day up to going home! Varied menus depending on time of day you go, she did specials each day and there’s a lovely dog to keep you company. We built rapport as days passed and she would recognise me and the lads coming by and sort us drinks when we got there. Very welcoming and delicious food. Ethical vegan vibes and cheap prices

I was passing through the area and had already eaten that day so took a selection of cakes away ans they were out of this world. Super delicious and high quality, I wish I'd bought more! The price was amazing value for money.The owner (Monika) is a really lovely lady and she was very kind to my dogs. I hope to pass back that way to try the rest of the menu!

I tried the lasagne today, along with a veganised version of a local sweet. The atmosphere was cheerful and very relaxing. I can't speak Portuguese yet, but it was no problem because the lady I spoke with helped me in English. There is great animal liberation artwork and a good selection of books too. I'm keen to try more from the menu. And more sweets and cakes too! I highly recommend this place.

Veggie Momi is a great little vegan spot in Albufeira. The lady who runs it is an activist and animal lover and even has the cutest little dog who was a joy to see when we were missing our own dog!!

The food is made with love and there is lots of vegan art and decor on the wall which shows that this business is keen to promote a kind and compassionate lifestyle!
I had the burger, lasagna and the cooked breakfast! All were delicious and we also tried the vegan wine and beer which was fab! Would really recommend! Definitely the best vegan food in Albufeira.
