Excellent choice for lovers of Asian food! - Edit
Great little place, with a varied Asian menu of super tasty food. Staff were nice, and we loved the natural plants and vines inside the restaurant.

Many of us know the loss of certain foods when we decide to go vegan. For me, a sushi dinner with friends was always a special festive occasion. Thanks to happy cow, I discovered Veggie House yesterday. The place is small and nothing fancy, but staff was super friendly, prices are reasonable, menu is extensive, and their sushi is delicious!

The restaraunt is so cute & filled with live plants. Everything I have tried is so delicious. We brought non-vegans in and they enjoyed the food very much. The customer service is great, the lady we have seen is so helpful and nice to talk to.

On a road trip there isn’t been many hot food items on the road. Was actually looking at another plant based spot but it was closed and I was hangry. I ordered online and waited for my time. I went in at my time and my food wasn’t ready they had not started. She worked quickly to get my order ready and offer me a beverage as I waited. Customer service is amazing in the place highly recommend!

I was a little confused since they are listed as vegetarian and vegan, but the lady at the counter was so helpful and reassured us! The orange chicken took me back to Panda Express days! The beef lo me in and the chicken fried rice were amazing! My boyfriend got the Vegas roll and said it was top notch. They also let us sample the tempura veggies and I wish we had ordered it! It was my favorite thing for sure(: we can’t wait to go back!

The Vegas roll is their biggest seller: it’s a deep fried sushi roll that’s on the sweeter side. Also very good. They were struggling a bit in their kitchen and even gave us an extra roll.
The lo mein was savory and kind of watery (as opposed to thick and saucy). Still good! Probably wouldn’t order it again, but only because the menu has other amazing options. I definitely didn’t regret it.
Sweet and sour/orange chicken tasted exactly like they should. Don’t miss out.
Veggie tempura was a massive serving size!

My boyfriend and I grabbed takeout from here after hearing good things. To be honest it was very disappointing. The papaya salad and green beans in black bean sauce were not flavorful. The green bean dish was mostly peppers and onions. The sushi roll we got was good. They were very nice and the food was quick.

My uncle is an avid meat eater, but we ordered in food from Veggie House and he couldn’t stop mentioning how delicious it was. The “egg” rolls are so good as well and I love them with the orange sauce. There are many good options to satisfy anyone and everyone!

Veggie house is fantastic. The food is so good and has all the flavor you would want. I got the sweet and sour chicken, the egg rolls and the Vegas roll. All vegan, and easily one of my new favorite meals. It was so much food I’ll have leftovers for tomorrow. Thanks Veggie House!

Just got into town and found this place on Happy Cow. Glad we gave it a shot. Traveling with non vegan in-laws and they loved the food. In fact, they ordered another order to go for later on that day! Lots of different options for vegan sushi, instead of the normal avocado roll. Would come again.

Favorite Vegan Restaurant - Edit
This is my auto Go To favorite place to go. One thing I knew I’d miss after going vegan was the sushi, so finding Veggie House has been such a godsend. Even my veg-curious friend has come to adore this place because they’re horribly allergic to fish and usually have to worry about even slightest amount cross contamination.
Read moreIs it a bad thing that the food is too filling? It’s a weird time for me where I want to order more items but usually one entree or sushi roll is enough.
The staff is very kind, and the place is always clean and presentable. Every time I go in they make some sort improvement to either their interior or their menu. I look forward to seeing them grow as a establishment.

I truly enjoyed the California roll and lemongrass & basil beef and tofu. If there is one slight complaint, it is that the California roll had a lot of rice and not as much “stuff” as I would like. Otherwise everything was fresh and delicious.

100% would return. So good and such fair prices. The lovely woman taking our order was very sweet and helpful. Thank you for making us feel welcome and preparing us tasty food. The roll we had was called Teriyaki Veggie Crunch Roll and it was 🔥🔥🔥 We also ordered the Orange Chicken and Stir Fry w/Eggplant. Both were also so amazing. Highly recommend coming here, everyone.

We love Veggie House. Service is friendly and quick. Restaurant is causal but very clean and enjoyable to dine in for lunch. We love the noodle dishes the best-especially the pad thai. The wide variety of vegan proteins you can add to each dish is wonderful - the combo meat is our favorite (vegan shrimp, vegan beef and vegan chicken). The curry dishes are good, too. Have tried the sushi - but the rolls have far too much rice. Won’t get them again. Everything else we have tried is wonderful.

Read moreThe entire menu is vegetarian, and everything is vegan too except for some of the sushi rolls (the vegan ones are marked on the menu board).
Was nice to have so many vegan options, but the food turned out to be very disappointing. The fresh spring rolls were very bland (the worst I've ever had) and didn't even have the cucumber in them they were supposed to (just lots of lettuce, a few rice noodles and some big slices of tasteless tofu). Not worth ordering, especially for $4.99!
I ordered the Thai yellow curry, expecting it to be soup-style in a bowl (like at a Thai restaurant), but it came as large chunks of vegetables stir-fried in a curry sauce, literally on a plate with a big pile of rice dumped on the other end. Not a cohesive or satisfying dish. But the serving size was generous and the soy chicken was yummy.
Overall, a pleasant but disappointing experience and not worth the money.
Pros: Lots of vegan options (nearly all the menu)., Great staff & quick service. Clean. Good seating., Free cookies! Free parking.
Cons: Disappointing food (at least what I ordered). , Awkward parking lot, not enough space when full. , Variety of Asian cuisines, but not done well.

Our Fav Asian Vegan in SLC - Edit
Try #E8 Sautéed Spicy w/ Lemongrass & Basil, #E1 Stir-Fried w/ Kungpao or (my favorite) #N4 with Pho Noodle. You’ll have your choice of “protein”. If you’ve never had faux meats, I suggest trying the Combo as it has soy “chicken”, soy “beef” and soy “shrimp”. The food here is always fresh and 100% Vegan which makes me V VERY HAPPY! For the Pho fanatics, Veggie House’s version is extremely healthy and I rank it 2nd best in SLC (All Chay has tastier broth). Veggie House’s serving is larger than most portions you’ll find around town and it’s chuck full of yummy veggies. And although t’s not listed on their menu, I order mine “tofu with no tofu and extra veggies”. So good! Highly recommended! Nice clean space, friendly staff, moderately priced, delicious ALL vegan!
