Extremely good tacos! - Edit
I really enjoyed this all vegan fast food/taco restaurant! The homemade veggie burger was delicious and very unique. The tacos were excellent and very similar to tacos I had at local restaurants in Mexico. The menu is very large and has great options from salads to burgers. Definitely recommend coming here!

Great vegan fast food option - Edit
I stopped in for the first time and was quickly impressed by the customer service I received from the lady behind the counter. I had lots of questions as I’d never been there before and she was so helpful to me with her suggestions based on what I like and don’t like. I ordered the Santa Fe Chick’n Sandwich and because I was really curious about the spicyness of the Mushroom Asada Tacos, she brought me out a little cup of the mushrooms to try (delicious and for a spice wimp like me it was definitely spicy but even I could handle it since the flavor is so good). The food was brought out in just minutes - I was really surprised how fast it was! I’d definitely return. This is a place your carnivorous friends will also enjoy.

Too expensive but good food in the small portions - Edit
Nice burgers and really good fries, friendly service too. However the portions are way too small for how much they cost. Cost our family of 5 over $60 for burgers, one portion of fries and some wings. Good quality food though, and the buffalo sauce is spicy and nicely seasoned. service was really good and food came quickly

Excellent - Edit
Even meat lovers should love Veggie Grill. Buffalo Bomber with fries. That’s the order. I have tried many items and always go back to that. The buffalo wing salad is equally as delicious: The crispiest fries in all of Marin as well. Excellent lemonade. Do it.

The food is so good that I decided to work there. - Edit
I've been a regular of Veggie Grill since around 2019/2020. I love the food and atmosphere so much and all of the staff have been absolutely lovely. I loved coming to Veggie Grill so much that I decided to work there. My experience has been absolutely fantastic. Firstly, my boss and coworkers are all such wholesome and friendly people. I think you'll feel that if you visit. And of course the food is delicious too. There are so many options, and we have food to fit really any dietary restrictions. Feel free to ask for the gluten free or nut free menus or to see the ingredient list for any item. The environment is very chill and I bring my friends all the time.

Good and easy vegan - Edit
I FINALLY tried the Beyond burger here (after over a decade of not eating meat!). I was pretty impressed, and I thought it was really good with just lettuce instead of a bun (I’ve never been a fan of those soft buns, and the lettuce adds good crunch!)
Read moreGreat for an easy vegan meal! I've been a few times and my friends and I have even discovered some vegan products and ideas from them.
Update:
Have now tried the Steakhouse Burger and the Santa Fe Chicken. Both were very good. The southwest mayo on the Santa Fe definitely has a bit of a kick, and mine came with sun-dried tomatoes and arugula, both of which I'd ask for again, but not being such a fan of "hot," I would have to really be craving it. The crispy chicken was nice. The Steakhouse Burger was also good, although we still prefer the classic. Contrary to expectations, the horseradish aioli on this one was hardly hot at all.

Fresh and delicious - Edit
My favorite is the B-Wing salad. Omg, so good. I have been to a few Veggie Grill locations around the country and so far the Corte Madera, CA location is my favorite. I haven't been to the SoCal locations, maybe they're nice. I used to give them 5 stars but my last few visits have been a little hit or miss like they're cutting corners to cut cost. I no longer make a special cross county trip to go. That said, their impossible burger us one if the most flavorful I've had.

Until a location opens up in SF, this location is the one to go - Edit
While hiking the Marin Headlands, started craving the nachos at Veggie Grill we had gotten at the Santana Row location a few months back. Thankfully, the Corte Madera location is a mere 20 minutes away. So we traded in the beauty of the Bay for the beauty of nachos. We may have cut the hike short but that’s besides the point.
Read moreBecause these nachos are worth it, topped with the usual fixings but with vegan versions of the taco meat, queso sauce, and crema. Just as good as the first, however the serving did seem smaller than the one from Santana Row. (Maybe we just wanted more?) Ordered the roasted garlic broccolini as a side to contrast. And the large fries to go. Because a good hike deserves good fries.
So glad Veggie Grill eventually expanded to the Bay Area after discovering it in Seattle in 2017. I’m still waiting for a closer location to open up in SF. Veggie Grill gods, please hear my prayers!

Reliable 100% vegan sandwiches and bowls - Edit
As the one and only purely vegan restaurant in my entire county, Veggie Grill gets a lot of my business. I don't have to ask any questions about ingredients; I can comfortably order from everything on the menu.
Read moreIt's casual--almost fast--food, rather than fine dining. Amy's Drive Thru over the freeway is truly fast food (and not all vegan), but Veggie Grill is a solid reliable place 100% of the time. Food is tasty, if salty, and they have full bottles of Sriracha and Cholula at the condiments bar for those of us who like it spicy.
They're always updating their menu as new vegan products come on the market. Newest at the time of this writing is the "tuna" from Good Catch, which Veggie Grill puts into a yummy tuna melt. It's a chain, yes, but it's a good chain with reliably vegan food that won't disappoint.
Pros: 100% vegan--no need to ask worried questions, predictable and good, supports innovative vegan food companies
Cons: salty

Vegan Fast Food - Edit
This place is my go-to for a quick dinner. Their ever-rotating menu means there’s always something to forward to, be it a “seasonal” dish or a refresh of an old dish, like the mondo nachos becoming the southwest nachos. I love the Far East Bowl with the sesame chickin, the sweet potato fries with chipotle aioli and the Baja ‘fish’ tacos.

Tiny portions - Edit
I really wanted to love this place since it’s the only vegan place near me. I ordered the zucchini noodle bowl which was $10.95 then realized it was under 400 cal so I also ordered a side of the loaded red yams that was reported to “serve 2” for another $5.75. Everything tasted good, but the “yams” were just one small loaded lukewarm sweet potato. For $20 with tax and tip, I just wish I had more food. I recommend paying attention to calories listed on the menu so you order correctly and don’t leave hungry.

I loved it! - Edit
I love the veggie grill. I have gone there twice. The first time I ordered there grillin’ chickin’ sandwich that had “grilled chicken”, mashed avocado, lettuce, tomato, red onion, cilantro pesto, chipotle ranch dressing on a wheat roll! I also got some fresh sweat potato fries! And it was absolutely delicious! The next time I got the beyond crispy tacos! It came with three tacos on a crunchy shell with beyond meat, lettuce, pico de gallo, spicy crema and warm tortilla chips! That was super good as well! Out of the two I recommend the grilln’ chickin’! But they were both amazing! Next time I’m going to order one of there salads!

I'm not gonna lie, Veggie Grill is a fast food chain, but honestly they do an excellent job of having a unique and diverse menu with seasonal items that are amazing, and they excel even before you consider the fact that it's a fast food joint where you can order anything on the menu without concern for your health or ethics!

Basic Fast food - Edit
I have come here many times with my bf who is also Vegan, and we hope that it will be better every time. It’s always kind of blah. Something is always off- we would make excuses for the staff like “aw they were probably just rushing today..”
Read moreevery time we go the fries are cold or the tacos are extra greasy... something is just off.. however, if you’re looking for a veg burger fast food style they aren’t bad. The price is just too high for fast food that seems rushed or was sitting out? They are always out of the breakfast burrito.
Pros: Lots of vegan options
Cons: Expensive for fast food, Food isn’t always fresh , Very “hit or miss”

Hooray for Veggie Grill! - Edit
All vegan menu that stays fresh with seasonal menu updates as well as delicious and reliable favorites. My wife and friends and I have tried many options and are always pleased with the flavors, quality and portions. Favorited include the “crab” cake, the bbq pulled pork and the quinoa veggie burger. Great French fries, desserts and appetizers, too. We love coming here whenever we head north over the GG Bridge. Our dogs love the outside tables. (Don’t miss the creative mural on the wall next door.)
