Restaurant of the theater. Serves vegan food and large range of local beer. All vegan with the exception of two desserts and dairy milk for coffee. NOTE: Currently open only for catering. Open Tue-Sat 18:00-23:00.

Pre-show diner

Wanted to try this place for a while, not so many only vegetarian places in Brussels, we have to encourage them!
Menu is changing and the names of the dishes depend on the play playing that night.
However it didn't live up to the expectations.
I had pasta with tomato sauce and veggie balls. (11,50 euros) The veggies balls were good but the dish was bland and nothing special. The pasta was very basic and overcooked. We were rather disappointed but maybe on another evening it would be different.
Not sure I will try it again though.

Edit: I did try again. This time is was good, a plate of vegetables and salads very fresh. However 14,5 euros for the dish of the day (even though they called it The buffet) I find too expensive.

Pros: only vegetarian

Cons: staff was confused, pricey

Check if it's open on the theatre's website (no play, no food)

Vegan food in the evening!!!!! ...Most vegetarian places in Brussels are for lunchtime only, so this is highly valuable!
The place is cosy but can get packed around 7pm: most customers just dine there before the play starts (8pm), so if you just want to have a nice dinner, go there after 8 and the place will be much quieter.
The food is really nice, sophisticated but not pretentious.
Also: don't miss the beers and don't hesitate to ask for advise.
