Slow but worth it - Edit
The owner was friendly but the service was very very slow. The place was empty and it took 45 minutes to get served.

We had meatball tagine that was exceptionally tasty.

Found this place on Happy Cow and not disappointed! Vegan lasagne fantastic and enough left over for dinner. Veg tagine with couscous also very good. Host was very hospitable and multilingual!

The meal was great. Cooked fresh so it’s not fast food but well worth the 10-15 minute wait. The proprietor was very friendly and welcoming and kept me occupied with some olives and some kind of leaf wrap on the house.
Very small eatery but that’s the charm. Lots of products for sale. Will 100% be back next time I’m in town.

This was my second time at this restaurant and as before the passionate and intimate level of customer service is always a pleasant surprise and a definite unique selling point for the restaurant. The host is utterly charming and full of interesting stories and passion towards the food he sells. I had the okra stew which was deliciously warming and spiced. Plenty of freebies also including olives, pitta bread and homemade hummus with paprika. Very reasonable prices also considering the high standard of food and service.

Amazing breakfast - Edit
My husband and I visited today and enjoyed a gorgeous breakfast - avocado, beans, spicy tomatoes, mushrooms, tomatoes, sausages, kale, and black pudding, plus flat bread. We were so full we skipped lunch! There were also lots of nice vegan foods to buy, with gifts too. We will be back next time we are in the area!

We had lunch here. The owner was super helpful, friendly and enthusiastic. Nice choice on the main menu and some specials too. We had a ‘New York Burger’ which was really tasty and filling.

I always come to Vegetus when I feel my body needs a boost. They serve hearty meals like casseroles but also do salads and fresh juices. The owners are lovely and often give me tips about cooking with certain ingredients - like pickled lemons!

Such a cosy little cafe, with really welcoming and helpful host. We had lasagne and vegan Spanish omelette, with aubergine. Both really hearty portions, full of flavour. Make sure you're hungry!

What an amazing place! The food is incredible, the owners are truly fantastic, it's a definite "Do Not miss" place in Cheltenham! We loved the mezze platter we had for dinner, we had to go back the next day for lunch.... ( vegan baklava and ice cream bars for dessert too!) thanks to Rashid and his wife for two amazing meals on our short visit to Cheltenham!

A very nice, small, family-run business that serves wonderful food! The owner is very friendly and accommodating. We had the royal vegan breakfast - best "full English" breakfast I've ever had! They also stock a wide variety of vegan cheeses and other yummy treats to take home. Highly recommended!

Really enjoyed my experience and Vegetus and the staff were extremely attentive. The Royal breakfast was delicious and I’ll definitely be back to try the rest of the menu, as well as stocking up on the vegan products they have available to buy in the cafe.
