Vegan Heaven - Edit
Vegetus Vegan Restuarant was recommended by the Guesthouse that we were staying at and what a gem! We received a warm welcome, a relaxed atmosphere with prompt service., The menu was an extensive one of Mediterranean, Middle Eastern, and British dishes all homemade. The quality was superb. The menu also included an excellent choice of alcohol and non-alcohol drinks. The owner was attentive and made sure that we received the best service possible. My husband and I will definitely return to this restaurant when we next visit Chelenhan and highly recommend it. You won't be disappointed!

Best food we've ever eaten. So tasty and fresh.
Owner is friendly and helpful.

Amazing food and such an incredibly friendly host! We had the Greek salad, ‘steak’ sandwich and New York burger. My dad (who eats meat) was blown away and said he hasn’t had a better burger in a very long time! Could not recommend enough!

Delicious food with traditionally personable service - Edit
We had breakfast booked, but also found ourselves looking for a dinner place the night before and tried here for a table. They were really kind and went out if their way to accommodate us.
Read moreThe food was so tremendous that evening, we were the last patrons there. Highlight was definitely the Seitan Steak with Roquefort Sauce and the rosewater-tinted Baklawa.
Breakfast the next morning, they opened half an hour earlier to accommodate us, and the brekkie choices continued to delight our tastebuds. The royal breakfast is a must (photographed - no vegan black puddings, so they replaced with a chonky hash brown).
If you're veggie/vegan or just a fan of delicious food, and find yourself in Cheltenham, Vegetus is a MUST.
Pros: The flavours are supreme, no need for condiments, Wide array of options, Lots to but and take away

Got a MASSIVE and DELICIOUS moussaka, and then a chocolate pie large enough to share between 4 people! Everything was scrumptious and the atmosphere was lovely :)

My partner (omni) and I (vegan) both ordered the kebab roll and a side of chips. We were both absolutely floored by how amazing it is. By far the best vegan kebab we’ve ever had. It was so fresh, the spices were perfect, I can’t fault a single thing! Owner is lovely and friendly too. we’re not from the area but already planning a trip back!

I was in the area for work and thought I'd treat myself to a nice meal out at an all vegan restaurant. I was nervous to go out by myself but I'm so glad I did. Rachid was so nice and gave the best service and everyone was so kind and friendly. By the end of the evening there was a lovely jolly group if us enjoying each others company with delicious food and drink. The food was so yummy - I had calamari, tofish and chips. I also had to get some baklava to take home with me. Highly recommend and will be back her as soon as I'm in the area again!

Best vegan restaurant in Cheltenham - Edit
Rashid the owner is a great host and the food there is just gorgeous. I visit Cheltenham (over an hour away) just to go here. The breakfasts are huge but so yummy. If you pre book you can get the tapas which is quite honestly the best meal I’ve ever had.

They catered for little one with a simple sausage beans & chips for a fiver.

Have been a couple of times now… Love the fact there is such a large and varied menu. Have had the new york burger and the seitan gyros and both were delicious. Very generous portion sizes. Owner is very friendly- you can tell that he really cares about the food and his customers.

Had a truly memorable meal at Vegetus today. The food tasted incredible, perfectly spiced and looked really appealing. And everything we ate or drank was so fresh. The owner’s enthusiasm for his cuisine was wonderful and his descriptions of it enhanced our experience. Would highly recommend this restaurant.
