Lovely little vegan place - Edit
I was so excited to find a 100% vegan place in Zagreb. I had the daily set menu and it was so delicious and nourishing!

I had higher expectations - Edit
This is supposed to be the 3rd best restaurant overall in Zabreg, according to TripAdvisor.
Read moreIn my opinion it is not bad, but I tried better.
The place is located in a hidden place, with cars passing next to you if you are on the terrace.
Inside is quite small.
The place of the day was good, but nothing special.
The Phai Thai seitan noodles were quite big and nice, but not specially tasty.
Pros: Many options to choose from

Food served with live worm/larva on top - Edit
Didn’t want to put an image of this for those who are squeamish but I ordered a pasta with tofu that arrived with a live worm/larva crawling on top of the food. There are never just one of these things in kitchens so please think twice before considering eating here.

Super! - Edit

Veliki izbor ukusnih jela! - Edit
Uzeli smo dva ručka, dvije integralne palačinke s orasima i dva kolača Dunavski val. Bilo je izuzetno dobro! Sve pohvale osoblju i rado ćemo opet doći ovdje sljedeći put!

Excellent spot - Edit
We are a group of 4 females who have been travelling to Prague, bratislava and Budapest, which all had fabulous vegan options. We have eaten really well but this topped them all. We shared the daily special and also had seitan pad Thai and Greek salad. The deserts are also delicious. Wonderful friendly service. Top class. Delicious 😋.

Bland and expensive for what you get - Edit
Unfortunately the daily menu was 16€ not so well spent here. The tomato soup tasted fine but could’ve used a bit more blender time as the texture was a bit gritty here and there. Salad was lacking as far as the dressing went and some of the lettuce was wilted and browning on the edges.
Read morePotatoes had definitely been prepped a while ahead of time and sat, leaving them simultaneously dry and soggy instead of fluffy and crispy. The kebab or durum with barbecue sauce was a few dry logs of buckwheat which crumbled when you tried to pick them up with a fork and there was no bbq sauce, just some ajvar that tasted like the jarred stuff.
I wanted some vegetables and a healthy meal and I did get that, but I would’ve been better off with a bland supermarket salad for a quarter of the price.

Very much worth finding! - Edit
Fantastic to discover this small restaurant in Zagreb. You need to look carefully in order to find it. Your app might only get you to the general area - It is only a short walk from the very centre of Zagreb and look out for the sign on the main road, now walk up a short access road (there's a barrier to stop cars) and it's worth the effort!
Read moreSuper food, fresh ingredients , great tastes, friendly service. They have a dish of the day (as usual, appears in translation as "Daily Dish") and many other options. Their website has full menu and good info.
I RECOMMEND A VISIT!

Tastes as healthy as it looks - Edit
I got the daily menu for 15ish Euros. Soup, salad and plate. Loved the potatoes and veggies patties. The soup and stew were both missing flavor and served lukewarm. This could be intentional, I'm not sure. I also got the daily special mint iced tea for 3€. Would have been a nice gesture to fill small glass up a bit more than halfway. Service and ambiance were exceptional.

Amazing all round! - Edit
The vegan lasagne was amazing! Not what I expected as it didn't have tomato or even something to sub out for mince (it was shredded courgette), but I was definitely not disappointed. It was SO tasty and came with a little side salad to offset the vegan cheese. My partner and I also got the vegetable tempura to share.
Read moreThe place is off a little side street which makes it a quiet little area, with option for outdoor seating. The lady who served us was very friendly and helpful, and while we didn't see the other staff, we could hear them singing to 90s hits in the kitchen as it was near closing time when we went. It made the place feel homier.
Pros: Amazing service/staff, Lots of options, Relaxing atmosphere

I liked the main dish but the star of our meal was definitely desert : a vegan cheesecake, not too sugary and tasty like it should.

It’s hidden in the alley way from the busy street. I ordered veg tempura, tempeh, daily soup (Swiss chard) and a vegan lemon almond cheese cake. All very tasty. Also wanted to mention the friendly staff (service) makes a huge difference for my dining experience.

Super healthy + friendly staff - Edit
Came here a bit late, but managed to order half an hour before closing time. I had the daily menu of kale soup, where the main course was millet with peanut sauce, beets and carrots sautéed and a seitan börek. There also was a salad as a side dish. Filling and healthy, a nice experience. The restaurant is kind of hidden away inside of a court yard, you can see the sign from the street

Nice Place - Edit
Cute little place a bit hidden from the street. Super friendly staff and good service. The soup was really good; my main dish was fine but not great. Also in general, the food missed a bit of spice, it was a little stale at times. Still recommended.

Good Food and Good Atmosphere - Edit
Tried their daily menu. IThe fried oyster mushrooms and the sour cream dip were so good. Their mixed fruit juice contained red beets and the main course has red beets, so it felt a bit redundant. The service was 5/5. Overall, the experience was good.

Staff was friendly and spoke English.

I went with the daily menu (main dish and salad, but no soup).
The salad was a little bland but alright. The main dish was overall good. The "schnitzel" were not very exciting. The broccoli and rest of the dish were tastier.
The interior is decorated well enough with jazz playing in the background. It's surprisingly spacious inside too.

The soy lasagna was very tasty and a good portion for the price. However, like the cauliflower soup, it was a little tasteless and lacked salt and spices. (takeaway)
