Closest vegan restaurant to the Bay - Edit
... seems that make them think they can be that unfriendly. Their food is pretty good, though.
Read moreInnovativ is that they dont have tissues at all, you might have to go to the toilet often for cleaning your hands/mouth at the sink.

LAKSA - Edit
Broth is nice and noodles are ok, they are skimp on the veg if you get any at all I had half a tiny mushroom cut in half. But it's still ok staff could be more friendly.
Read morePros: Tastes great, Quick, Location
Cons: Only half a mushroom as veg on bowl, 3 ”tiny” peices of puffed tofu , Would be nice if had a friendly vibe

great spot - Edit
This place is just a few minutes walk away from the Raffles place MRT station. The menu is pretty varied, with more traditional Asian dishes along with burgers and pasta. It also does juices. Service was really fast and I paid by card too which is always good. I had the soya congee, I loved it. I didn’t fancy anything too spicy so this was perfect. Highly recommended.

Nice little place. Limited Choice, yet what is been made is done well. Quick Service, accept creditcard, though it is pay first then eat concept. Space-wise nice seating area.

Yummy food! - Edit
We went here tonight! It was a cute little place with friendly staff and a very diverse menu. The meal was delicious and mine was nice and spicy! I had tempeh rice which came with some delicious pineapple chunks and peanuts. Friends had the tempeh burger and chips and rice with stir fried vegetables. Everyone enjoyed their meals, and we finished it off with some absolutely delicious ice cream - they have dark chocolate and coconut flavours. Only thing that let it down was that after the first glass of tap water, they charged 50p (Singapore dollars) which seems a little expensive for tap water.

Cons: Tap water charge, Small portion for the rice dish

Really Good!!! - Edit
We had their bakuteh, very worth it. Their tomyum fried rice is ok... wish there were more ingredients as it was just carrots and cabbage for veges in the fried rice. The owner of the cafe is very friendly and receptive to feedback, and he cares about customers’ experiences.
Read morePros: Owner very knowledgeable and friendly, Bakuteh is very delicious, Location is good for working people
Cons: Fried rice needs improvement

Very well located and friedly staff, but the food was just ok. All vegan which is great, but nothing really special. I don’t recommend it and I don’t really want to go there again. But it can save you if you are around...

Ordinary Vegan Food - Edit
I tried the aglio olio and vegan mutton curry rice last night, and I must say it's a disappointment. The aglio olio was too dry and the ingredients used was pathetic. I couldn't say more for the curry rice. It was not delicious and the rice was too chunky for my liking. I will not go back there again. I must say the ambience is getting dull there, as compared to the last time I had been there.

the food was alright - Edit
We went to the Veg Café and had rice bowl with Tempeh and spaghetti.
Read moreThe food was alright. We liked the rice bowl better. It had a really good peanut sauce plus we drank really good self made ice tea.
The atmosphere was okay. If your looking for a cozy place to sit for a while, this is not the right spot. Other than that the service could improve.

Not Bad - Edit
Vegcafe is a fully vegan eatery that doesn't use any alliums (onion, garlic and other pungent vege), located in Circular Road near Raffles Place MRT
Read moreI've been here quite some time ago, having tried the cakes before which they longer have it on the menu.
We had Beef Noodles, Vegan Mutton Curry Rice, Sambal Tempeh Burger, a coconut and an Avocado smoothie (not pictured).
The portions to me was just right. I was expecting the rice used in the curry rice to be long grain but instead it was jasmine rice which was a lil dry. Oh, someone from another table ordered the same dish and didn't finish the rice.
The ambience is nice and quiet, and the eatery is situated among pubs and night clubs which I don't think you should bring young children around unless it's in the afternoon.
The best sellers are the following:
Laksa
Beef Noodles
Aglio Olio Pasta
Bolognese Pasta
Signature Mushroom Burger
Sambal Tempeh Burger
Vegan Mutton Curry Rice
Sambal Vegan Fish
Satay Stir Fry

Oasis! - Edit
What a treat! Delicious vegan food in the heart of the city. Seating for about 25 - not at all crowded at noon on weekday. Large variety of noodle, pasta, burger, rice dishes, tofu and tempeh, desserts and smoothies, coffee. Deserves support of all of us veggies.

Tasty! - Edit
I ended up having the Bimbimpap after much consideration. and it was really good. Be prepared if you order it, it's quite spicy, just how I like it. But that info was not in the menu nor was it pointed out by the staff. All and all though, really nice place with great food.

Great for local food - Edit
Laksa, rojak, monkey head mushroom are local things to try. Food is healthy without use of mock meat. Portions are on the small side but are priced accordingly which means you can try more dishes. Staff is super friendly and accommodating and we will come back for sure.

Cash only! - Edit
We chose this place for a late lunch as it had plentiful vegan options (being fully vegan) in the area.
Read moreWe ordered the bibimbap, fried rice, fries, and two lemon iced teas. Aside from rice dishes you will also find noodles, pastas, sandwiches, burgers, and a variety of juices. You place your order at the counter, but be aware this is a cash only establishment! We had to run to an ATM to withdraw cash but they were nice enough to start our order in the meantime.
The tea was a bit sweet but very refreshing. The bibimbap was spicy but okay, though surprisingly lacking the standard kimchi. The fried rice portion was generous, simple but delicious. The fries were again okay, nothing special.
We did not have a chance to try the desserts here but the walnut brownie and chocolate cake are featured in a case at the entrance to entice you on your way in.
