So nice~

First of all I love the interior and the vibe of this Café~
The little cakes are all super delicious and you have a diverse coffee/ non coffee menu. But keep in mind- if you want to try the black desserts you have to pre order them one day in advance !

Pros: Atmosphere and vibe, Delicious

Black and White Aesthetics

This is a small vegan cafe in a calm neighborhood in Incheon.
They currently only serve beverages on a daily basis. If you want to eat here, you have to order desserts in advance. They respond quickly and kindly to messages on Instagram. Reportedly, they have started to implement this system of pre-ordering to prevent food waste.

Behind the creative names are pastries with an unconventional appearance: They are all black! This is because cocoa and black rice flour are used to color them.

Since the main ingredient is rice flour (although the bakery products are not fully gluten-free!), the texture is a bit sticky and more chewy than regular croissants or pastries.
The coffee tastes good, too.

Prices are much lower than in Seoul.

In addition to that, staff as well as the furry companions (dogs) are lovely!
The concept of the entire cafe is black and white: The interior is simple, furniture and walls are black and white matching the aesthetic.

Pros: taste ok / good, nice vibe, friendly prices, cool concept

Cons: need to plan visit in advance

Tasty and inventive drinks and pastries

The first time I went I tried the the peach ice tea, which had a hint of thyme and was delicious. I went back again to try the pastries because they have to be booked a day in advance (I guess to avoid food waste). Tried the pain au chocolat, something similar to a cinnamon roll, and the hazelnut latte. Pastry texture was really nice and the pain au chocolat was really chocolatey. Cinnamon roll was also tasty, but more chocolatey than cinnamony. Hazelnut latte also delicious... but should probably have gone with something less sweet, alongside two sweet pastries.

The pastries are all made with rice flour and some kind of black powder (I guess charcoal?) so all the desserts are black, which appealed to my inner metal kid. Drinks also are nicely presented, and there are some unique options on the menu.

The owner was really nice and friendly and also has a sweet dog who makes friends with everyone who goes in.

Pros: Good coffee and pastries, Various vegan milk options, Unique menu

Cons: Have to book pastries in advance
