Best vegan food in clapham

EDIT: unfortunately the portion sizes these days are not what they were. They're using different shaped boxes now and what you get is still decent, but not as generous as it used to be. Obviously prices have gone up everywhere with inflation, but it's a shame they've tried to hide this by shrinking portions rather than raising prices. Original review below.

I've tried a few dishes so far and they're all really delicious. The nasi goreng in particular is really good with both noodles and rice - it tastes as much like seafood as I can remember after several years. Each dish I've had has a lot of effort put into it with the number of ingredients and vegetables you get as well, you can tell a lot of work from a proper vegan chef has gone into the recipes.

I only wish I could order straight from a website and have all the money go to the restaurant rather than relying on food delivery apps (which I try to avoid) - it's one of the kitchen-only takeouts so there's no option to pickup. I'm normally just ordering for one so delivery makes quite a big price bump, I would order a lot more often if there was a way to pickup instead.

USED TO LOVE BUT WILL NEVER ORDER FROM HERE AGAIN!

I have ordered from this place several times and have enjoyed their food. However, yesterday my whole perspective/experienced changed as I received REAL chicken in place of what should have been Qorn 'Chick'n'. I have been Vegan for 2 1/2 years & was a vegetarian for about 2 years before that and feel disgusted as yesterday was the first time in YEARS I tasted chicken and it physically made me feel sick. I was suspicious after the first bite as I've had all the Qorn there is and that is what is usually used. However, the smell, texture & taste was all of a chicken nugget.

I asked my mum 'non-vegan' to taste it to make sure I wasn't going crazy & she confirmed it taste exactly like chicken and that was it for me because out of all the years being Vegan my mum has tried many of the mock meats I like to promote and she always tells me nope doesn't taste like meat at all. I called the restaurant to make an enquiry and they replied "WE HAVEN'T RECEIVED ANY ORDERS FOR FRESH CHICKEN TODAY" I was in Shock & it made me so angry that a place called 'VeganOut' has meat on the premises. I pushed that what I received was chicken and all the response I got was the above & the fact that they have chicken on the premises it could have been a mix-up but they didn't even want to admit it. The lady on the phone was basically calling me crazy as she said it was definitely the Qorn packet she used and locked off the phone. I'm not convinced at all as I always get the same meal & this wasn't it. It even arrived in different packaging - normally comes in a White/Brown box but got a blue box this time. This restaurant is clearly meat based but sells it's vegan options as another entity which in this case it should be explained on their Deliveroo profile etc.

I ordered again the next day just to make sure I don't seem like the crazy vegan lady and as you can see a clear difference in meat/mock-meat. I would have appreciated if the lady said she was sorry and it was a mix-up than to make out like I don't know what I'm talking about & making out like I was crazy.
NOT HAPPY @ ALL SHAME ON YOU!

My go to

I love this place. It is takeaway only. The food is always amazing, I’ve had the chow mien, spring rolls and gyozas. I’ve honestly had this about 6 times since moving to the area in January. I was finding it hard to find a vegan Chinese and this hits the spot for me.

Pros: All vegan options, Reasonable price, Big portions

Cons: Only takeaway
