Very yummy food, very nice people! - Edit
We went here a while ago, but my son of 6 just reminded me how good it was and if I gave it a 5 star review. Seems like I did not! So to put the records straight: great food and little shop. Mainly take away but option to eat at the table. My son still remembers the 4 cheese pasta! And the cuchiyuyu we bought there😄

Cuina vegana casolana - Edit
Veganitzat és un tresor a l'Empordà! Tant de bo hi hagués més locals vegans a la comarca. Ells porten amb molt amor aquest servei de plats casolans vegans, i tot està boníssim. Hem demanat menús quatre o cinc vegades ja, i ens encanta sempre. Veure que no estem sols a l'Empordà pel que fa als drets dels animals és fantàstic. Gràcies i seguiu així!

We had 4 meals desserts for take away and it was all delicious. Happy to see staff is really for animal rights and service is super friendly. Business is sometimes slow depending on season so show them your support. They are well worth a visit!

Amazing Food! - Edit
We are the first time in Catalonia and wanted to try a vegan restaurant. So we looked up on Happy Cow and found this amazing restaurant near us. The staff is so nice and they we’re open to any wishes from our side. The food is amazing and even I (I am a picky eater) loved it. Couldn’t recommend this place more! I went there with my family and we all really felt welcomed and enjoyed our meals in a cute and comfy atmosphere. Thank you so much for this amazing start in our holidays!💗💗

Amazing spot with beautiful garden area - Edit
Great spot to visit if you are driving. The food is delicious and the server is very friendly. We had a pasta dish, a meat dish, a soup and two desserts. It would be a big mistake to skip dessert here!!

Read moreGanz unspektakulär und unscheinbar liegt der kleine Laden an einer Hauptstraße in einem abgelegenen Ort durch den man sonst wohl kaum kommen würde, wenn man nicht davon weiss. Aber ein Abstecher dahin lohnt sich allemal, denn es ist ein kleiner, sehr authentischer Imbiss mit paar Sitzmöglichkeiten am Fenster und,wenn offen,im Hof nebenan und einer sehr freundlichen Besitzerin. Als wir da waren, war sie alleine,deshalb war Aussen geschlossen. Öffnungszeiten und Sitzmöglichkeiten scheinen sich etwas danach zu richten, wieviele Leute sie grade an Personal da hat. Es gibt immer etwas Anderes,meist als Menue aus Vor-,Haupt-& Nachspeise. Bei unserem Besuch bestand dies aus einer sehr leckeren,sämigen Paprika-Pasta mit veganem Reibekäse, einem "Chicken"-Curry und einer sehr leckeren Schokocremetorte. Menue kostet 13,50€,was ich für 2 warme Essen Torte gar nicht teuer fand. Ausserdem gibt es noch eine kleine Kühltheke mit veganen Käse-,Fleisch-&Wurstsorten und einem Regal an veganer Trockenware wie Süßigkeiten,Chips,regionale Getränke,Aufstriche (süß&salzig).
Edit: Wir waren heute doch nochmal spontan dort. Diesmal war auch der Sohn da,der super freundlich ist, gut englisch spricht und uns noch den Garten zeigte. Diesmal bestand Das Menü aus lasagne als Vorspeise, super leckere Polenta mit Gemüse und Torten als Nachtisch. Ausserdem wurde gerade Pizza gemacht,von dem wir auch noch eine mit namen und mega Donuts!! Also wenn man 6 Sterne geben könnte, hätte ich es getan! Übrigens ist auch ein Abstecher von dort ins Örtchen Monells lohnenswert. Beides ein absoluter Geheimtipp!

We were looking for a vegan breakfast stop for our way back home and I messaged Veganitzat if that was possible. They said it was and we could ask what we would like to eat. They would propose a breakfast.
Read moreWe arrived, sat in the garden and had splendid breakfast! A pile of super delicious pancakes with red fruits, a nice oatmeal bowl with fruits, super nice flatbreads (Jordi's bread) with grilled zucchini, a bit like a pizza and some fruit salad.
We had a warm welcome and a good conversation.
The meals were very decent sized and very affordable!
Pros: They make new things every day, Super delicious and very friendly, They try to make classic dishes in a veganized way

We made a detour on our way back to our apartment to eat here. Veganitzat would be open according to HappyCow, but it looked closed, shutter was closed.
Read moreMy husband knocked on the door and mother and son were present. They wanted to make us something sweet. We could sit in the garden next to the house and that was cozy. They indicated that no more people were expected and that they had therefore closed. Also they were closed the day after anyway so they didn't have many options. We indicated that we were not that critical and wanted to be surprised. Our kids liked pasta. Mister really went out of his way to give good explanation about the snacks we got, they are very nice people. It's really a takeout point. It is nice that you get the option to eat in the garden. There was dog poop under a chair, the smell of which suddenly passed by, so I sat down in another chair. We didn't say anything about it, because we were grateful that we could eat there and didn't want to whine, but advise to the owner to pay attention to that.
The food was delicious. We got a kind of homemade biscuits/crackers with pate and hummus, a glass of gazpacho, some kind of cheese, all an empanada, the children both got a plate of spaghetti and we got a piece of lentil bread. We took a bottle of fruit juice and four cupcakes together to eat at home. We had eaten some fruit before we came because it was quite late, so we were full pretty quickly too. It was really delicious, but not large quantities. We know vegan food is usually more expensive. On this site other people wrote that the food was cheap. We expected between 65-75 euro’s or so, (that’s what we had to pay last week in some vegan restaurants in Spain), but we had to pay 94 euros. In retrospect we should have agreed an amount in advance, now we felt a bit like the tourists who pay anyway and who made up for the income for the evening a bit. So a map with prices would have been nice or a price agreement. But the food is really good.

The only vegan restaurant in the area so we had to go here. The owner is very kind and explained the menu. It is a fixed daily menu with 2 main dish options. The dishes were simple but delicious and hearty. The dessert was fantastic!

Negocio familiar en el que se nota el amor que ponen en la comida. En nuestro caso comimos allí, la verdad que les falta adecuar el lugar para ello, pero lo compensan con creces con lo rica que estaba la comida.
