Cozy and delicious - Edit
Me and my wife went here our first evening in Amsterdam. Great dishes to share, great variety. Superdelicious, some dishes were a bit spicy but it’s clearly marked on the menu. Absolutely recommend if you visit Amsterdam!

Delicious - Edit
The atmosphere of Amsterdam is amazing. It feels like the Amsterdamians have conquered the streets, and squeezed in there is this place.
Read moreI had kimchi koketjes and a mapu tofu and both were delicious. The staff were friendly and spoke fantastic English.
The mapu tofu said spicy, but wasn't very spicy. They had some extra chilli on the side to help with that.
Pros: Nice staff, Good food, Nice atmosphere
Cons: Could have had more szechuan pepper :)

Tasty lunch stop near the park - Edit
Veganees is located conveniently near Vondelpark as you'll want to go for a walk and burn the calories off afterwards! It is asian fusion food. My husband and I couldn't decide what we wanted so we ordered a sharing platter with gyozas, cauliflower wings, satay tempeh skewers, prawn crackers and wontons. We also ordered some kimchi croquettes as extras.. it was a lot for lunch between two! I had a traditional Vietnamese iced coffee. Loads of local beers available as well as juices. Staff were very friendly and attentive. Lovely laid-back vibes. Was surprised that it wasn't busier when we visited.

Best vegan food in Amsterdam - Edit
The Kimchi Fries were really good. We also had the bao bans and the Kimchi BLT. The drinks are probably the highlight they offer a vast variety of different drinks.

Good food and service, just a tad too pricey - Edit
Had three small plates, and a macha iced tea. The food was cooked well, and the staff were very attentive. A little pricey for what it is, but definitely worth at least one visit.

Excellent food and service - Edit
We really enjoyed our lunch here in a very comfortable booth. We had many dishes including the bao, tempeh satay, miso ramen and the nameko noodles. Our server was sweet and service was fast and good. They also have alcoholic drinks for a wonderful happy hour with Vegan snackies.

I took the mapo tofu which had a good level of spice. I also had a ginger drink and a fresh tea, which were both good.

Decent but not great - Edit
Probably didn't pick the best options, but the fried cauliflower was a bit bland. Fries over cooked. The sauce was good though

I had a katsu sando and my friend had the vegan BLT and they were both delicious. I loved the katsu sando, it was rich in umami flavour and they make their own vegan milk bread.

The streetfood basket is the one - Edit
You should try in this place. The fried cauliflower are insanely good, the mushroom bao bun omg. It took about 45 minutes to get the food but that’s probably not the regular case. Lovely place as well.

Nice interior design, great food with lots of flavour without drowning in salt/soy sauce. Simple but delicious flavour combinations. Loved the bok choi especially! Toilets are only accessible through narrow and steep stairs.

Lovely, reasonably-priced resturant - Edit
The decor in this restaurant was lovely, and it was reasonably-priced considering Amsterdam is generally on the more expensive side. We ordered three small plates each, which was the perfect number. Minus one star because the food was nice, but nothing extraordinary.

Great concept, delicious food, cute place - Edit
We really enjoyed the concept of ordering a few smaller dishes to share them. It’s a good possibility to try more than just one dish and it’s really worth it!
Read moreThe restaurant has many tables - inside and outside - and looks colorful and pretty! The staff is really kind and welcoming.
Their Menu is fully vegan, which is amazing.
We‘ve ordered the sticky tofu Bao Buns (we LOVE Bao buns!), the Samosas, the Korean fried cauliflower and the Tempeh Satay. First of all: everything tasted wonderful!! But the samosas with the (I guess Mango Chutney?) and the Coco Yoghurt Mint Dip? SOOO DELICIOUS! We also really enjoyed the Cauliflower!
Unfortunately we couldn’t try any desserts, because we were so full 😅
Definitely would come back, definitely would recommend coming here!
Toilets are not accessible to wheelchairs, very steep spiral staircase.
Pros: Fresh and incredibly delicious food , Fully vegan, therefore many options, Very cool concept
