good price / a lot of food - Edit
It’s something I liked to try.
Read moreIt is a lot of food for a really good price.
It’s a mix from different noodles, lentils and rice together with sauce. The food itself is ok, in the end it’s noodles and rice with sauce.
You get the food separate together with a few cups of different sauces to mix with the food (see pictures).

Unique - Edit
The flavours were really nice and probably not something I could've made at home myself. However, some of the ingredients did not feel fresh as the bread was a bit stale. The shop felt very clean and the food was very neatly packed in different containers.

so tasty - Edit
this is one of the best vegan food places in amsterdam!!! unlike anything else in the city and completely vegan. got the egyptian street food koshari, the server was very lovely and explained all the components to us and the best order to mix things in. really tasty and very hearty, very filling and felt good to eat. i thought all the different pots were fun and exciting and means you can keep it fresh if you have leftovers! the pittas also sounded so good, if i was there longer i would have gone back to try them!! had a little pantry store so you could buy the dry ingredients and make it at home. portions are also great and cheap, large koshari was €9.50 and was easily two meals

Amazing food - Edit
I had the medium koshari, it was super good! A very filling meal for only 7.50 euros, very affordable. The staff is very friendly. Looking forward to try more food from here! It's only takeaway, but very nice to get food from here and go eat it on the side of the Amstel on sunny days ☀️☀️

So yummy! - Edit
I had never tried Egyptian food before, and I must say that I wouldn't mind trying it again. :)
Read moreWe had two of the pita sandwiches for take-away.
It took a bit of time to make them; but it was worth it.
Note that although they are a take-away only place, there's plenty of space in the waiting area, and there is also a small selling corner with staple foods.
Hopefully they can get a restaurant with tables in the future!
Pros: yummy, good value, friendly staff

Good food for a good price - Edit
I really liked the Koshari! It’s rice, pasta, lentils, chickpeas, tomato sauce and fried onions. It was full of flavour.
Read moreCan’t wait to come back and try out the pita.
The menu on the website is outdated and everything is more expensive now, but it’s still a very good price. For €7,50 you get a medium bowl of Koshari, which was a good dinner portion for me.

Healthy meal - Edit
Good portion, nutritionally well balanced. I forgot to take picture before I mixed everything up) But it tastes really good! With a nice spicy kick (optional - you can add as much spicy sauce as you want). Friendly staff! They also plan to add more options in the nearest future.
Read moreIt's a shame though, the food is only for takeaway. The interior is very nice, I would love to stay there to eat😄
Pros: Healthy, Friendly Staff, Fast service

Kushari in Amsterdam - Edit
Finally, there's a place to get this amazing Egyptian national dish in Amsterdam. Adding to the very cozy location in Hilversum, you can now also taste this fantastic and traditionally vegan dish in Amsterdam.
Read moreThe portion sizes are really good so you definitely get good value for money here! Very tasty and absolutely worth trying if you have never had it.
Also, Amr is so friendly!
