Solid spot for vegans - Edit
Loved everything about this place. Super cute spot with delicious food. Drinks were wonderful— highly recommend the espresso tequila. Even tried their strawberry lemonade that had muddled strawberries in it— so yummy. We very much enjoyed the dumplings, oyster mushroom Baja tacos and vegan chicken and fried rice. Yum!

The tempura green beans were really good and a hit with my non-veg friends as well. I got a pizza too which was good! I ordered from DoorDash and it wasn’t immediately clear to me that it’s a vegan restaurant - even their website was a bit confusing so just a heads up. They have a lot of cool options, I’d check it out!

It’s a really nice space, and our waiter was very friendly. The cauliflower tempura was absolutely delicious! There were a few minor issues with other things we ordered, such as slightly undercooked noodles and a very tough/chewy tortilla on the wrap. The flavors were great though!

The place is beautiful. I had the coconut miso ramen and it was really tasty. The portion wasn’t really big though. I would have taken 2 portions to really be fullfilled. Also, we were the only in the restaurant and the service was still super slow. Finally the waitress charged us for flat water (not bottled), so we were quite suprised. At least, she was nice enough to take it away of the bill, when she saw that I was suprised.

Delicious fusion food - Edit
I love when restaurants combine multiple cuisine and it works out. While I love traditional foods, this place blew my mind. It is one of the best fusion foods I ever had, I tried the Kimchi pizza and I was pleasantly surprised. The combination was amazing and I enjoyed every bite of my pizza. The staff is very friendly and service is exceptional. Prices are a bit high, but definitely worth it.

I thought the place was nice but they only had one gluten-free option: a salad. I made a special trip to visit this highly rated vegan restaurant only to have a nice salad that I could have gotten anywhere. I’m sure it’s great for its other dishes but sadly I could not try them.

The cauliflower tempura and haricot vert tempura was incredibly salty- almost to the point we couldn't eat it. Atmosphere was very cool but we won't be back. Also kinda pricy.

We had a wonderful time at VegAND. The food was excellent, and it was obvious that they didn’t use highly processed vegan cream, cheese, or vegan patties in their dishes. Everything we tried tasted made in-house. The service was excellent, and the staff was friendly and knowledgeable! Thank you for the great time and service!

This place is relatively new. The ambience is really nice inside and the food options are plenty. Food is very tasty. Good sized portions as well. Defo worth a visit if in San Juan. You won’t be disappointed.

Vegand has just been open for 2-3 wks at time of this review and we were impressed! Beautiful restaurant. Very accommodating staff (they were out of an item and literally went to the grocery store to grab what they needed so we could have it). Eclectic menu with great flavor. Please try this place so that the people of San Juan have an awesome Vegan restaurant to frequent!
