hidden gem

Tucked away in the Nag's Head market, this little place is a great find. Super friendly owners and an unusual, but successful, combination of Italian and Korean. I had delicious pasta, and saved the bibimbap for the next day - was still delicious when reheated 😊
Discount for students or if you found the place on Happy Cow.

Nice food, nice people, a little expensive

We had the pink beetroot spaghetti and toppognocchi - I really liked them both but my husband found the garlic and onion a bit overpowering. The couple who run it were really nice and helpful when it came to me ordering as I'm gluten-free so they made sure they used all fresh equipment and water. While I was waiting for the order the lady also gave me a free dark chocolate mochi which was ridiculously nice. For a takeaway stall in quite a rundown market the prices are perhaps a bit high though - both mains were £8.50 each.

Pros: Nice owners/chef, Knowledgeable on gluten-free, Nice food

Cons: Price

Great food and lovely staff!

Absolutely brilliant food, I had the kimchi and 2 different desserts! the Florence cake was really different and really good! the service couldn't have been more friendly! Chef Mauro is clearly really passionate about his cooking and exploring new flavour combinations! And his wife cooks the best Kimchi ever! although it was slightly more expensive than I expected for a grab and go, I was given a free cake with each main. but couldn't fault the food :)

Cons: slightly hard to find initially

Really tasty

I had the tomato lasagna and I really enjoyed the taste, the souse was awesome and the home-made vegan cheese, wow, proper texture and flavour. The place is small but the couple that runs it is very nice and truly passionate about veganism, definitely worth to try.

tasty and unique

Our first time in the small Vegan Yes was very positive. This place is at the Nag's Head Market, a little kitchen with a nice couple in charge. They welcomed us showing the menu and explaining how to choose. Both of us chose very delicious food and dessert and we also got freebies which were pleasant surprises! Their origins (Korean and Italian) were the basis of their unique food mixture so if you'd like to try something new I definitely recommend this place.

Pros: cheap , takeaway and delivery options , friendly and helpful staff/owners

Cons: small sitting area

You Must Go Here!!

The couple that run Vegan Yes are the nicest people I've met. They were so passionate and lovely and looked after us so well, and kept bringing out extras for us to try and didn't charge for! The perfect experience in a quaint little market. Make sure you go into the market to find it as it's not on the main road. It's easy to find. The food was fantastic, amazing carefully prepared italian food, great portion and inexpensive. We had a great time with them and they gave us new inventions to try - explosions in the mouth! Will be going back and I urge you to - healthy wholesome food at student prices!! Thank you.

Pros: Stunning food, Wonderful, passionate, happy chefs, Friendly, personal experience

Amazing food

Tucked away in Nag's Head Market, this little food stall is definitely worth the visit. Their Italian-Korean fusion food is divine and like nothing you've ever tried - we had the kimchi tofu and rice which was delicious, and the toppognocchi which had the most incredible texture, and both were perfectly filling. Their desserts are also something else, I could have eaten so many of the chocolate mocchi if I wasn't already full from the mains.

Chef Mauro and Min were lovely to chat to, and their fresh, homemade food was so good. Now I know where they are I'll definitely be back to try more from their menu, and to fill my pockets with as many mocchi as I can fit. I highly recommend it.

Pros: Diverse menu, Lovely owners, Freshly made food

Nice food, nice people

My friend and I had a nice lunch, nice Italian inspired food and a nice chat with the owner! (Very welcoming people!!). Good price also as they help student making -20% on the bill for them! (They are located in a market so you can't really see them from the street but keep searching it's worth it!!!)

Pros: Quality of food, Nice owners, Price

Cons: "Difficult" to find

I visit this place every time I m in London. The vegan dishes are all cross-culture creations with a special touch. But even better than the delicious food is the company of Min and chef Mauro. Don't miss out, definitely worth a visit!!

Delightful vegan stall

A lovely couple run this small cafe. They describe it as their 'laboratory' where they are experimenting with tasty and healthy food - all vegan. I had 'pink tagliatelle', pink because it contained beetroot. They also gave me a ginger drink and asked me to comment on a vegan 'gravy' that they are developing.
I do hope they open a larger cafe soon.

Pros: Imaginitive and tasty vegan food, Delightful and friendly owners, Main courses, drinks and desserts

Cons: Only a few seats

Something new. Something tasty!

This little treasure was found hidden away off Holloway Road in the market.
A fusion of Italian and Korean; where 'fresh' reflects the style as well as the quality of the food.
Chef Mauro obviously has a great passion for food and the lady (apologies as I didn't get her name!) shares that equally.
We tried a selection of dishes and we were not disappointed with any.
I hope they start selling their bread and kimchi soon too as I would buy it in bulk!
Get there if you can and enjoy yourself.
Only downside is there is only seating for three so bear that in mind.
I will be back :)

Pros: different and new flavours , healthy, welcoming

Cons: not much seating, in the market

Tasty &Friendly

The owners Min and Chef Mauro were super friendly and explained me the menu in detail when I arrived.
The food was healthy and delicious, I went for the Healthy Potato which meant to be a sweet potato on a rice bed stuffed with sea weed and a sesame seed topping.
Absolutely recommendable :)

Pros: friendly, healthy, fresh

Delicious vegan food

I'm so glad I found this place inside the market. It's small but it doesn't matter as staff there are very friendly and food is just amazing. Everything is vegan and homemade; I tried lasagna kimchi and freshly prepared kimchi and it was so so good. Also the owner gave me to try his new invention which also was really tasty although the combination of ingredients might be a bit strange for newbies. Definitely will visit it again.

Pros: homemade food

Cons: none

Delicious, healthy and imaginative food

Tucked away in the market is this small but very friendly stall, preparing fresh and healthy Korean/Italian fusion food. On the cold February evening I stopped in for dinner I received not only a freindly welcome but also a blanket and complimentary fresh ginger tea.

I had the lasagna (which was absolutely delcious) the Omega Bruschetta (on home made vegan bread- also flavoursome) and Florence Pudding which was perfect for me sweetness-wise. While I was there another customer said she was there to get her takeaway pretty much every evening and I could see why.

With one owner being a trained doctor, there is emphasis on health (no frying goes on, no msg) and allergies and intolerances are catered for.

There are plans to branch out to Kings Cross area soon and I look forward to when they have a bigger venue with indoor seating. (Shouldn't be long as the demand is sure to grow fast with such great food). Highly recommend.

Pros: Delicious, healthy and filling food, Friendly service, Dishes you won't find anywhere else.

Cons: Limited seating
