Very friendly lady/owner but average food. - Edit
The lady was very friendly and welcoming and it pains me to not leave a 5* review because of this but I honestly did not enjoy the food. The dish I had was the: toppognocchi with coal bread. The Toppognochi tasted like standard Ragu sauce on some kind of pasta like thing. Something you can make at home. I also got the impression that the food was just a reheated old meal, and not fresh as the sauce and other stuff came out of the fridge.
Read moreIf you visit, I recommend trying another dish. This one was not nice. Maybe go for something more korean than italian. Possibly the kimchi.
Pros: friendly owner
Cons: bad food (dish I had), reheated old meal

Food safety standards below zero: We got moldy bread... - Edit
We were looking forward to trying out this restaurant since we read the good reviews and were curious for the fusion of Italian and Korean cuisine. We ordered the topognocchi and got moldy bread with it that was even toasted. The owner noticed it after a few minutes. She took it back from us and apologized for it. It was clearly a mistake, but still it doesn't make up for the standard of food safety. Who keeps moldy bread in a restaurant and even still puts it in a toaster afterwards?

Swung by here for some dessert after visiting the Islington vegan market. The dark Mochi were incredibly yummy. Will be back to try more of this Italian Asian fusion!

100% Vegan and Great Service - Edit
I have ordered the Kimchi Lasagne from here on a many occasions through UberEats and it has always been very tasty. I one occasion I was walking past the stall in the market and decided to get a quick snack of Kimchi Kimbap (Delicious), the lady who served me, who I assume was the co-owner and wife of the other co-owner and was extremely polite and I had a conversation with her whilst she eating my food, she was very impressed that I had gone vegan on my own at such a young age and was also impressed that I thanked her Korean. Because the place is extremely close to my flat I will be here very often.

Vegan Yes Please - Edit
Me and my friend picked this stall to visit on our vegan food-exploring on a London trip because the idea of Korean and Italian food together sounded weird and excellent. We both like spicy food. It turned out to be a great combination of food styles.
Read moreI had a plate of kimchi gnocchi - the sauce was a tomato ragu with kimchi in, and the gnocchi were a mix of standard Italian potato gnocchi and rice-based Korean gnocchi, which had a different chewier texture. My friend had some kimchi lasagne. It was quite rich, creamy, and heating the kimchi made it milder. It blended well with the sauce; it was spicy but not hot. It would have been nice to have other vegetables as well as the kimchi in the lasagne.
Min the owner is a great host. She asked whether we would like to try some seaweed and chocolate bruschetta while we were waiting for our food to be cooked. It was an unexpectedly tasty combination of salty/sweet/umami. This was my friend's favourite thing because she had never tasted anything like it before. Then, when we got talking about why we had come to the stall (partly to try some vegan kimchi), she brought us out a sample plate of the four different kimchis she made for us to try.
For pudding we had a black sesame pudding bowl, and also this chocolate-covered, chocolate-filled mochi rice ball to take away. Mochi usually come in other flavours - it was even better in chocolate format. The texture contrast of the hard coating and squishy rice was nom.
Mauro is good at cooking.
Delicious.
I will definitely come back again if I am anywhere near that part of London on future trips.
Pros: They love to share their tasty food, The food is excellent and creative, There is so much kimchi
Cons: Not much seating (but it's a market stall!)

Great little outlet for something different! - Edit
Vegan Yes produce interesting and unique combinations of Korean and Italian food done vegan! We tried the homemade sausage and yellow bread!!! which is a lot better than it sounds! We also had a seaweed on sweat potato with rice dish and a chocolate pudding all handmade and all lovely. This place is small and has a relatively small menu but it is my earnest intent to return and eventually try the entire menu because I love to try new inventive vegan dishes. Vegan Yes are healthy food orientated so the desserts are sugar free! :)

Italian korean fusion made with love - Edit
The chef proudly dishes up his own inventions merging his wife's Korean dishes with his Italian twist. All ingredients not only taste amazingly fresh but also have a health significance each that the owners can tell you about whilst you're feeling like you are dining at a family members home.

Delicious and unique home made food! Being Italian means we are usually sceptical of mixing our cuisine culture, but this works EXCELLENTLY! the flavours are great and the ingredients fresh and prepared with a lot of love and care. Big up to the owners who are such lovely people and make you feel at home and have lots of interesting knowledge to share. My boyfriend and I had such a wonderful lunch and will certainly be back. Grazie :-)

it's good but I always feel short-changed - Edit
Food is delicious, especially desserts. Love how there's gluten free options; however, every time I order takeaway from Uber Eats I get the same thing: flat rice noodles bolognese, but there's never enough "meat" with the bolognese. Feels like lots of noodles and not enough of the good stuff. They need to re-evaluate.

Italian/Korean fusion with a very large menu.
Read moreIt's located literally in a shed that's been converted into a kitchen with one table. It looks very tacky but the food is very good, all homemade and VERY cheap (we were absolutely stuffed and took loads home for £40 for 2 people).
The owners are very friendly and gave us lots of free stuff to try out that they were experimenting with.
Recommend mochi, kimchi, gnocchi and golden milk.
Pros: good food, very cheap, friendly owners
Cons: it's a shed

Delicious Lasagne alla Bolognese! - Edit
Great fully Vegan little restaurant / stall! Make sure to call before turning up in more than a couple, if you want to sit down to eat. The smallness however is an advantage in that you can see your food being prepared in front of you! Mauro and Min are friendly and happy to talk about their food if you want to chat. Portions are generous so go for the middle portion! Definitely a must! Home delivery available too! Grazie mille e a presto!

I can honestly say the food at Vegan Yes was some of the best vegan food I've ever had in my life. Such a unique concept to fuse Korean and Italian cooking together and it works so well! Min and Mauro are such a wonderful couple and they made us feel so at home, it was such a privilege to watch Chef Mauro cook for us whilst we watched and talked with both him and his gorgeous wife, about so many different things in life! I also got to show off a bit of my very limited Italian which was fun 😝 The flavours of the food were incredible, so original, fresh and made with love. You can really tell the effort that goes into creating these dishes and also you can see how passionate Mauro and Min are about cooking. The mochi covered with chocolate was one of the best desserts I've EVER had. Just thinking about it is making me drool! Such a fantastic idea.

One of the rare, unique, must-go eateries! - Edit
Vegan Yes surprised me pleasantly on all fronts. The first joy is the warmth, friendliness, and joyful enthusiasm of the Italian and Korean proprietors, who provided more attentive service than one gets in the next 20 restaurants combined. Their tiny kitchen puts out huge flavor, with the most interesting dishes being the ones that combine Korean and Italian flavors and textures. I had the gnocchi (delicious with spicy Korean sauce) and the Naples kimbap (also very tasty). The put a lot of creativity into inventing new flavor combinations, and they work hard making fresh food from scratch. The result is one of those rare dining experiences that is truly unique and well worth making a special trip.
