We had Bruschetta as a starter, 1 burger each and desserts. The food was very delicous, especially the desserts (cinnamon rolls and blueberry cheesecake).

During our vacation, we visited this restaurant several times and not just because it is the only fully vegan restaurant on the island. Friendly staff and amazing food, so it is definitely worth the visit. I recommend trying their veganbonarra. Delicious!

Always nice to find a fully vegan restaurant. We had bola de caco, the hummus and the guacamole as starters. Hummus really good. Gauc nice but just standard nacho Crisps. For mains we tried the sea burger, moving mountains burger and the carbonara. All good, nothing out of this world but as a change for what else is available in madeira it's good.

Staff is very nice, the veganbonara is insanely good as well as the gnocchis. Juices and lemonade have a more healthy taste if you get my hint😉but I like that anyways. Bruschetta with the mushrooms is a must have as a starter.

Our favourite place in Madeira - Edit
We loved this place so much we came back 3 times in a week - and I’m not a huge restaurant repeater. Everything we ate we enjoyed. The atmosphere was gorgeous and it seemed to be well loved by the locals, we found some days we had to wait for a table so we’d often go a little earlier just so we could get in. Team was lovely and the place itself is beautiful.

The only vegan place in Funchal, so I will give it that. We had the carbonara and gnocchi and they were both good. I just wish the type of food was different. I would have like to try traditional madeiran food m (we did have the bolo de Caco)

Als Veganer sollte man unbedingt hin - Edit
Man hat so viel Auswahl an Starters (auch Portugiesische Spezialitäten) und auch bei den Hauptgängen eine riesen Auswahl. Von Bowl und Burger über Pasta…. Was ein veganes Herz begehrt. Desert-Theke ist auch immer mit reichlich Auswahl bestückt und es sollte für jeden was dabei sein. Wir waren fast jeden Abend da. Leider hat das Mundo an zwei Tagen geschlossen. Samstag haben wir nicht berücksichtigt dass es schon um 17:00 Uhr schliesst und konnten unser erfreutes Abschlussessen leider nicht mehr da geniessen. Aber wir sind durch und durch zufrieden. Service auch top. Da wird vegan nicht nur geboten sonder auch gelebt💗 (Achtung auf Google heisst das Vegan Mundo -> Vegan World)

Between us we had 5 separate meals, 2 separate starters, and 6 separate desserts and all were top tier. An absolute must visit and, I think, the only fully vegan restaurant on the island. Oh and the Proteico smoothie is class too!

Cute little place with very yummy options. We ordered the mushroom rissoto and the chilli supreme and really enjoyed it! For desert we had the chocholate cake with "snickers" and ice cream on the side which was super!

My grandmother and I stopped by Mundo Vegan for lunch and we loved the whole experience. The restaurant atmosphere is so welcoming and refreshing. You can tell that the owners and employees really care about what they're doing. As far as the beverages and food goes, we loved our juices and the burger was amazing. The risotto was a little underwhelming but still quite yummy. Ultimately, I highly recommend Mundo Vegan! So grateful that this place exists!

We had dinner here after finding this all vegan restaurant last year. We ordered the homemade lemonade which was not good! Shared a starter of ‘surprise’ balls, which were a bit bland but came with a great dip which was needed for taste. We both had the lasagne which was delicious. We shared a bowl of chips which were perfect! Definitely recommend

Visited twice on a short visit to Funchal. Lots of options on the menu. Really enjoyed the curry, if a little runny for my tastes. Bolo do caco was delicious.

We had dinner there and had one starter and two mains. The aubergine hummus was ok, but not really what I was hoping for. The chili was bland and the pasta had a good sauce, but ingredients could have been better. Juices are good tho. Overall not bad, but I wasn’t impressed, maybe we just tried the wrong dishes, others looked better.
