Experience here includes assault by coin. - Edit
First of all: there’s a sign on the door saying they accept card and bitcoin, but really their card terminal is apparently broken for months now and just not meant to be fixed.
Read moreI would expect them to tell patrons before they place an order. We specifically chose this place because it said cards accepted.
Second: the owner (?) is a complete nut case it seems.
When we scraped together our cash (sum in bills and full € coins, no copper counting needed, but again… we came here specifically because it said card payment) to settle the random sum he calculated based on god knows what - there’s clearly some creative book keeping happening here - he flipped out and threw the coins after our heads.
He then proceeded to take pictures of us, yelling his head off that we needed to speak German to him in Germany (which we had tried, except neither him or staff seemed to understand), screaming we needed to leave his place of business or he would call the police.
We could not figure out what bad trip he was stuck on, it was absolutely shocking, and I will make sure to never go there again.
Plenty of non-violent options around. Avoid this place at all cost.

Pros: Location - please vacate for someone else, Got coin bath like Scrooge McDuck. , The waffles were actually good.
Cons: Absolute nut job behind the counter, Does not accept card payment as advertised, Clearly creative bookkeeping

Attention people with allergies, serves unvegan food - Edit
Terrible experience! Would give 0 stars if I could.
Read moreWaited 30 minutes for my order although there was not much going on at the café. Very pricey. Waiter was very stressed, seemed overstrained and was very unfriendly. Saw unvegan spread and after asking if he used it for my order he affirmed and said he usually uses another one. He didn't care about it and just wanted to the billing. He was very rude. I also saw cow milk on the counter, you can never be sure if your order really is vegan.
Never again.
Cons: Unvegan, Unfriendly, Waiting time

UNVEGAN FOOD - Edit
Vegan café but unvegan spread which was not declared. The waiter/boss did not care, just said '"sometimes we use some unvegan spread, just for the kids."

Nice for breakfast/ lunch - Edit
I’m surprised that this nice little place is getting negative reviews. Granted it’s not the place to go for ‘big food’, and some of the dishes are a bit expensive compared to some of the neighbouring vegan places, but we loved it. It shares its premises with a lovely bookshop, and offers breakfasts, light lunches (sandwiches, salads, etc), cakes and drinks. The staff are super friendly and there IS a toilet (you have to ask). Anywhere that offers delicious vegan hot choc and croissant is rated highly in my book :)

Cozy, rather pricey and slightly bullshit café - Edit
We had a protein shake for 6,50€ and a small piece of cake for 4€. Both were ok (the cake more ok than the shake). The ambient of the cafe is nice with cozy seats directly at the windows of the integrated bookshop. But the menu contains bullshit facts about barley grass (Gestengras) that could actually be harmful to anybody who really believes that this grass is full of vitamin B12 and a lot of other vitamins and minerals according to the claims in the menu.

Cons: bullshit nutrition "facts" in menu, pretty pricey

Basic vegan food - Edit
It is a nice cafe for breakfast and quick bite. The dishes are typical vegan classics like avocado toast, quinoa salads and raw cakes. Not super exciting but good in its simplicity.

Just ok - Edit
Nice-looking vegan cafe with noisy environment. They had run out of salad at lunch time on a Sunday... so selection was limited. Had a avocado-tomato-tofu sandwich which felt overpriced at € 8,40. Atmosphere was not inviting enough to keep lingering around.

Small and quite pricey - Edit
It is a small Café with less seating, they don‘t have a toilet. In rush hours staff always seams a little stressed out. It is a good place for just having a coffee with a friend. They make good matcha. But it is quite pricey.

Nice for breakfast - Edit
We went here for breakfast and I had a cup of coffee and a nice avocado and tofu toast. The avocado was absolutely perfect! It was a bit expensive for a place in Berlin, but compared to what I'm used to where I come from I think it was definitely worth the money. Unfortunately we couldn't pay with card but the staff was helpful and started to make our order while we went to the closest ATM.

nice location - Edit
I tried the chai latte and the porridge. The porridge was delicious, the chai also yummy, but I had better ones in other locations. They have a variety of breakfast and lunch options, not cheap, but made out of fresh ingredients. Nice interior and it wasn't a problem to bring a dog inside.

Pretty good (almost very good) - Edit
Unexpected: Cash only, at least when I visited. Not great, but not a sin. (Maybe someone could add that info to the listing?)
Read moreWe had a delicious piece of bread with guacamole and a smoothie, although I found it a little overpriced. But taste and presentation were excellent.
The one staff member there was rather aloof, not rude but not really welcoming either.
The service was indeed a bit slow, but the place is connected to a bookshop (or it's theirs, I didn't really noticed) which we could flip through at he table (inside).
Overall it was a good experience. I would give it a 3.5 rating if allowed.
Pros: YUM!, Books
Cons: Aloof staff, Expensive, Cash only

No service, can't comment on the food. - Edit
I wanted to like this place. I made a special trip to eat here and left disappointed. Not because of the food - I didn't get to try it. I waited about ten minutes (at an outside table initially, and then inside) trying to find a staff member and failed dismally. It was mid-morning on a Monday, so it wasn't as if they were about to close. Others have commented on the slow service, but I failed to get any at all. I ended up at the Ethiopian place on the same street that has a few vegan options.
Read morePros: The menu looked interesting, albeit pricey., Central location.
Cons: Non-existent (literally) service.

Lovely superfood café - Edit
I went there for late breakfast with a friend and really liked the options: porridges, smoothies, raw tarts, a nice range of organic teas... I went for a porridge with coconut & rice milk topped with fresh fruits. A bit pricey for the quantity but still good porridge. The raw raspberry and cheese tart was really nice, and the golden milk cappuccino was absolutely divine! Overall I'd recommend this place to anyone who's looking for fresh healthy vegan food

Good experience - Edit
I had a vegan power Tiger and must say that it was extraordinary. It was delicately composed with spices. My wife had a salad with avocado and tofu -also delicious. Our two sons had a guacamole spread and a muesli. The guacamole was disppointing and it didn't seem fresh and the muesli lacked moist. I had a green smoothie with spinach, mint, koriander and aloe vera which was very tasty, but should have been more chilled.
Read moreThe service was fine and friendly, but very slow; especially considering we were the only ones there... Not cheap but okay prices considering the area and the quality of the adults' food.
All together a good, but very mixed experience.
